Nobody gives a shit about women's privacy, dignity or achievements and it's certainly not just because they are prisoners, this is being played out everywhere.

I just, this is ridiculous.

The thing I wonder is what are they going to do when women prisoners start getting pregnant? No-one but no-one wants women in prison getting pregnant, for a massive variety of reasons, which may differ between the political divides but come to the same conclusion.

There are many reasons prisoners are separated on sex, the basic fact of females being able to get pregnant is a massive one. Even if you don't care about women being mixed in with men in prison and what that might mean for them, in terms of sexual violence, you still don't want them getting pregnant.

How anyone can look at this and say yep we don't need to divide between sex but gender, it's just, they are not thinking straight, or what is going on in their heads?

Would they insist on putting a transman who had had no treatment in a mens prison? I mean, really?

Not one comment on that Mirror article supports him. It's time this insanity was recognised for what it is.

These stories are useful in reminding public what is now meant by transwomen. I think many of those who chant 'transwomen are women' genuinely believe that the category 'transwomen' only refers to those people who have lived for years as women and have had gender reassignment surgery. They don't realise it's increasingly anyone who just says they're a woman.

Why is this violent man in a women's prison? Yes, man. MAN MAN MAN. I don't usually mind playing Let's Pretend where TIMs are concerned but in cases like this- nope.

I remember reading about a case where a transman was raped - she kept shouting that she was a man but her rapist didn’t care. I say she because we all know damn well her rape was because of her sex. She couldn’t identify out of it.

I wish people could be happy living as the people they are rather than doing all this. It just seems insane.

Perhaps they were afraid of living in the male prison? Ergo the male prison system needs sorting out. Does our prison system work? I feel this has more to do with that than sex or gender. They committed a very violent murder so surely their prison environment should be based on that. Something made this individual want to be with females and I would say it is most likely fear rather than the want to Lord it over them.

Even if there was a trans category for these fitness competitions, anyone born male is likely to win. Putting transwomen and transmen together STILL ignores the basic biology both were born with.

But when he got there, he's had no compunction about entering this competition and winning by miles, and picking up what sounds like a highly coveted prise.

I can't remember if it was West Point or not, but it was a military academy in the US. The women were being sexually harassed and the nurses was basically encouraging them to be on the pill as they were going to get raped.

That's what will happen here. Make women prevent pregnnacy so that men can remain wherever the fuck they like

Yes I read about women being forced to accept long term hormonal contraception which is appalling as it's not without risk / many women have quite serious reactions to this type of contracpetion.

It seems putting women and girls on contracpetion and ignoring any detrimental side effects is yet another thing we are just expected to get on with.
