How can I smooth my forehead better, any good products out there, I'm 42, my forehead feels quite itchy recently and spotty and a bit lined. Or do people get Botox or some other treatments...I'm clueless..thanks 😁

I've heard good things about the Ordinary's Retonoid, am planning on getting it soon.
Worth googling "Ordinary retonoid" and "Nia Patten" or "Wayne Goss" for reviews.

Have a fringe cut in.

Grin Seruously though, if you think you'd suit one, go for it. Easy way to solve the issue.

Sounds like your skin has gone a bit sensitive. Maybe dehydrated too rather than dry. Even if you feel oily it can be your skin reacting to the dehydration and over producing oil.

I like the La Roche Posay Toleriane range for cleansers and moisturiser. You might want to look into using an acid too but I'm not confident enough to recommend one specifically.

What do you use at the moment?

There’s nothing wrong with your forehead. Seriously, moisturiser and high spf. That’s it.

Botox.

Botox!

Look up Frownies on Amazon.

It's when the lines go vertical nearer the eyebrows you want to worry.

I have had lines like this since I was 8 and they have never aged me because they are normal lines to have.

Hylauronic Acid which is in a lot of products will plump them up a bit and hydrate them.

It looks like you could do with a Glyconic or Lactic acid.
It looks like you just have a build up of skin. If you exfoliate with an acid, your skin will absorb moisture better - it looks absolutely fine.
Just a bit of tweaking 😊
