Would you like to test Mia & Ben fresh organic baby and toddler food? £100 voucher to be won for feedback

We’re looking for 150 Mumsnet users with at least one child aged between 6 months and 4 years to test newly launched baby and toddler food from Mia & Ben.

Here’s what Karina, Co-founder at Mia & Ben has to say: “Mia & Ben has all of the taste, vitamins and colour preserved because what we don’t do, unlike other companies, is use heat to preserve our food as it destroys all of the natural vitamins and flavour. Instead, we use pressure (technical term: High Pressure Processing) to keep the vitamins and taste locked in. We're very excited to see what you think about our new kids' food!"

Mia & Ben products are found in the fridge aisle, and so selected testers will be sent a voucher so that they can purchase products from the Mia & Ben range from Sainsbury’s (you can find out if they’re stocked in your local Sainsbury’s store via this link). Following testing the range with their child, testers will need to give their feedback on a thread on the Mumsnet site, as well as completing a short survey.

All selected testers who give their feedback via both the thread and survey will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £100 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

If you’re interested in taking part, please click here to sign up.

Thanks and good luck!

According to the linked search, they're not found in any Sainsbury's within 50 miles of me!

Gosh who thinks putting food in plastic pouches is gods for toddlers or the environment...

Temp123999 Wed 24-Jun-20 10:55:12

How hard is it to steam a few veggies

We can't all be as virtuous as you @Temp123999 halo

I do prepare home cooked food but enjoy the convenience of ready made occasionally.

Is introducing your children to ready meals really a good idea? Any cooked from scratch meal is bound to be better. Don't let theses companies get your kids hooked on packaged food. Anything you cook for them is bound to be better.

QuestionableMouse Sat 27-Jun-20 22:28:51

Give it a rest will you @Diverseduvet

Stuff like this has its place. Unless you've never grabbed anything ready made ever? 🤨🤨🤨

Diverseduvet Sat 27-Jun-20 23:02:09

Hi Mouse, give children the basis of really good home cooked food then ready made occasionally won't really adversely affect them. Companies are all vying for the next consumer so it's not something I would encourage, or rely on. Telling people to ' give it a rest' is a bit hostile on a discussion forum!

I mean I grow our own fruit and veg and cook most stuff from scratch. I also buy the occasional pie/jar of curry sauce/takeout for DH and me because sometimes we just fancy it. I see this as the same. I’ll still cook most stuff for DC but if there’s an easy, relatively healthy option I’m likely to use it occasionally.

done, my daughter loves mia & ben fruit pouches from sainsburys.

@Questionablemouse
But do you slurp out of a pouch whilst driving as I've seen toddlers sucking their dinner out of these in pushchairs.
