Tesco slots?

I’ve tried to get a delivery slot at midnight every night. I always end up in a queue to access the app and by the time I get in the slots have gone. So tonight I started using the app at 11.45 and clicking between items etc. But at 11.55 I was kicked out of the app and into the queue!

Any ideas how to get around this? I thought if I was in the app and using it then I was a current user and the queue would be people who joined the app after me. But obviously not.

I got one tonight. I don’t use the app though I use the site don’t know if that makes a difference. I queued for about 10 mins

I just managed to book a slot. I logged into the website at 11.59 and waited in a queue til 12.08 got through and there were loads of slots for thurs 23rd. I'm not sure what i did right i expect it depends on the area you live.

Are they always updated on Thursdays at midnight?

I got a slot at about 2am. It just randomly appeared. Maybe someone reserved it and then changed their mind?

I got one tonight for the 23rd. I logged in at 2 mins to twelve, it put me in the queue, then it let me on about 2 mins past. I booked the slot then it put me back in the queue before I'd even added an item to my basket, left me in the queue for a few minutes then let me back on to add my groceries.
Hope you can get one tomorrow op

They appear randomly throughout the day, and there seem to be more if you go for the flexi option. I was refreshing every couple of hours when I had chance on Monday and by mid afternoon got a slot in Tuesday.

I was on the app from 11:30, was kicked out and into the queue at about 11:55. Only got into the app again at 12:19, and there was a single click and collect slot left (no delivery). I clicked it and the app showed an error popup, then it was no longer available. I was gutted (and very tired!)

Two nights ago I had a similar experience Petiolaris. I logged onto Tescos at 11.45 and started continually refreshing. At 11.54 I was put into a queue which refreshed about every 30 seconds. At 12.24 I got onto the site and all the slots were gone.

Keep trying; I think if you get into the queue you have a chance of getting onto the site to book; it's like winning the lottery.

Ridiculous. I'm in the vulnerable category - and with the meds I need to take on routine to sleep I can't be online fighting with shopping slots at midnight - and am shopping for DM who is also vulnerable and elderly and can't do middle of the night technology either.

There are no slots. Both of us are having to take our lives in our hands and go into the bloody store. If either of us get it, it will be because of having to go shopping. As a result, we've both decided that we give up on fresh once it runs out and we'll be living off the freezers and cans. And thank God for the preppers and that I listened to them, or we'd be in trouble now.
