Some of you may remember my original post about my sister and her children. I am currently sat waiting for the emergency duty social worker to arrive and remove the children. Feel so helpless right now. This is just awful. 😭

Heres a hand for you (((hugs)))

Bhbunny · 05/08/2020 23:56

I didn’t see your original post but lots of love right now xx

Namechange543 · 05/08/2020 23:59

Thanks it’s the waiting not knowing when they are coming that’s torturing me.

This must be so tough Flowers

Do you know where the children are going?

worstwitch18 · 06/08/2020 00:06

I remember your original thread very well. As I recall the children were not being removed at the time - has something else big happened?

I know this is very tough. Given the circumstances of your nephews' upbringing hopefully this can be the start of a better life for them.

Ruralretreating · 06/08/2020 00:06

Haven’t seen your other post but it sounds a really difficult situation - hand hold and hug for you

Luckypoppy · 06/08/2020 00:08

Holding your hand.

@worstwitch18 Yes, she’s been arrested after assaulting one of the children. She’s being kept in custody while the removal takes place. They’ve got an emergency protection order.

They are going into separate emergency foster placements.

Have just quickly read your original post. I’m so sorry, it all sounds horrendous. You’re not helpless though, you are being there for your nephews. Wishing you all the strength in the world.

ineedaholidaynow · 06/08/2020 00:18

Oh I am so sorry

Poor children. At least they've got a good aunt in their lives.

imissthesouth · 06/08/2020 00:19

So sorry for the kids, look after yourself too thoughThanks

HotPenguin · 06/08/2020 00:34

Are you with the children? I think I saw your previous thread. Handhold.

giantangryrooster · 06/08/2020 00:51

I saw your previous thread. Handhold from me, too.

I'm so sorry, I hope all involved get appropriate help. Including you op, hope you have someone irl to talk to.

Zoflorabore · 06/08/2020 00:56

I am pretty sure I remember your thread op ( you and your dm were considering taking a child each? ) apologies if I’ve got it wrong.

How sad for all involved. It does sound like the children need external help though and all you can do is be there for them and ask SS to keep you updated at every stage.

There will be someone up here throughout the night Flowers

TheVeryHungryTortoise · 06/08/2020 00:58

I saw your previous thread. So sorry this is happening right now. Handhold from me too- you sound like an incredibly caring auntie by the way!

ohfourfoxache · 06/08/2020 01:00

Oh my god, I’m so sorry - you must be going through hell Sad

All I can offer is a handhold x

dododotheconga · 06/08/2020 01:00

Is the child she assaulted ok?

Namechange543 · 06/08/2020 01:01

Yes they are with me at the moment. The police asked to watch them when she was arrested. The children have today reported the physical abuse to each other also so they decided they needed separating. They are in bed asleep with no clue what is about to happen.

OP posts:
Namechange543 · 06/08/2020 01:02

@dododotheconga Yes he’s ok just very upset obviously but other than bruises no lasting injury thankfully.

Greyblueeyes · 06/08/2020 01:20

Oh god, what a mess. I am so sorry OP. Thank you for being an advocate for these children. I hope that your family, children included, can heal from this trauma.

Bananabread8 · 06/08/2020 01:25

I remember your thread OP. Social services have let you all down. Handhold.

CaroleFuckingBaskin · 06/08/2020 01:27

How awful. Poor children. Why do they separate them like this though? Surely being taken from parents is traumatic enough let alone splitting the siblings. So frightening. I havent read the original post so may be missing part of the story

worstwitch18 · 06/08/2020 01:34

@CaroleFuckingBaskin

In the previous thread OP mentioned that the children have an extensive history of violence towards each other to the point that two of them cannot be at the same school and cannot be left together unsupervised.
