They give me the rage with their crappy songs about six foot houses and coming to “fight ya”

It can’t just be me?

ASDismynormality · 18/01/2018 18:45

They drive me mad!! I can't decide if they are worse than the poems they used to have or not 🤔 both give me rage 😡

JediStoleMyBike · 18/01/2018 18:46

I find their songs shit and unfunny. So annoying.

mrsharrison · 18/01/2018 18:46

Yes they need to fuck right off.

Tweety2067 · 18/01/2018 18:50

Fucking smug arseholes. They give me the rage more than the TUI ad.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 18/01/2018 18:52

I really get irritated, but DS17 loves them and thinks they are funny. I want to throw something at the telly.

DSHathawayGivesMeFannyGallops · 18/01/2018 18:52

I hate all nationwide ads. I also think the DM of those girls must hate them too, they've got names about 60 yrs too old for them

FrostyThirties0 · 18/01/2018 18:53

Oh I like them Blush

MsHomeSlice · 18/01/2018 18:53

I LOVED the ChrimboLimbo one but the sisters one and the small house one are rubbish

Knittedfairies · 18/01/2018 18:55

Flo and Joan are Nicole and Rosie Dempsey. I liked Chrimbolimbo, but not the others.

Knittedfairies · 18/01/2018 18:56

That should be Nicola, not Nicole

Eminybob · 18/01/2018 18:56

They just look so smug, that’s what bothers me.

Aparantly they featured at the Edinburgh fringe, and are highly regarded.
The poets are all proper poets too.
I work for NBS so we get the low down on all this shit.

I hate them too btw.

Suze1621 · 18/01/2018 18:58

Hate this advert so much i didn't actually know who it was an advert for! increasingly these days I only watch downloaded programmes to minimise adverts.

I liked the poem ones. Blush

The singing sisters give me the irrational rage though.

Steaksauce · 18/01/2018 19:01

The adverts really annoy me. My husband loves them for some reason.

And wtf is that shaking egg thing that the super smug one has?
Just stop it!

MrsDoyleFallingOutTheWindow · 18/01/2018 19:01

I've idly followed them for a couple of years and I generally like them - they did a great song about how shit 2016 was (highlight: referring to Trump as " a fuck-cheeto with hair" that brought them to the attention of lots of angry Internet men) so I'm disappointed to see them do these quite terrible adverts. Poor show.

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 18/01/2018 19:01

Shock they’re an actual act??

Their songs are woeful! I hated the Chrimbo limbo one. And yes the poems were shit too. unbelievably loathsome. Do nationwide not want customers?

Soubriquet · 18/01/2018 19:04

I prefer these over the TUI advert though

That one makes me murderous. This I can cope with

NeverHadANickname · 18/01/2018 19:04

I turn it over when it come on, really annoys me. That and the stupid go compare advert. I refuse to use that website because the advert annoys me.

MumGoneMild · 18/01/2018 19:05

I do like this one.
They mention brexit, Boris, trump, white supremacy, #me too and earl grey.

Eminybob · 18/01/2018 19:05

Aparantly not.

I’m a mortgage adviser there, and I just scream at the telly - just advertise how low our mortgage rates are for fucks sake knob heads!

MissionItsPossible · 18/01/2018 19:05

YANBU. At all.

But the worst part is I think I've become hypnotised by them now because I can't get "Sisters, we've got the same brothers and sisters" bit stuck in my head since I saw it ten minutes ago Angry

Maybe Nationwide are just trying to beat potential customers into submission by subjecting us to these god awful adverts?
