Very excited when the email came this morning! Is anyone else up for this?

Count me in!

It was lovely joining in last year's MN daily 30 Day journey and get into a habit of daily practice so I'm looking forward to this year's "Home".

VioletCharlotte · 18/12/2019 20:52

Yes, I've signed up again this year. Looking forward to it.

daisychain01 · 18/12/2019 22:15

I hope Adriene cuts out a lot of the chatter this year, that's the only thing.

I found myself counting "that's 7 mins of actual yoga time gone" - when some of the sessions only last25-27 mins it's quite a chunk of time!

Oneforposy7 · 18/12/2019 22:15

Really enjoyed last one and completed it! First time I've ever stuck to something like that.
This year I'm recovering from surgery so I've signed up but will have to be cautious.

envelopeofpubes · 19/12/2019 08:53

I will try it out, but I also hope there’s less talk. I don’t mind doing a 45 min class, but when it’s 10 minutes of actual yoga and 35 mins of chatter it seems like a waste of time! I also hope this series is a little more towards the intermediate. There are so many options for new starters already it would be nice if she did a series for those who have been supporting her for a long time.

SnapCackleFlop · 26/12/2019 13:58

I did last year’s one too 🙃 I’m looking forward to this though I struggle with keeping up a regular practice. I’ve had loads of problems with my hips (and pelvis when pregnant previously) and have been having physio but I know a regular practice would help me so much.

Does anyone have any advice for keeping something regular going? I find it too easy to let things for me drop off the list when there’s so much else going on 😕. In the long run I know it doesn’t make sense as being in pain and feeling crappy doesn’t help anybody but I still find it s struggle.

demelza82 · 27/12/2019 07:55

Yes, up for it. Did the whole thing last year but then a family bereavement.threw me off kilter in February so would love to start again

TabbyStar · 27/12/2019 18:49

Also signing in and hoping for something suitably challenging! Though maybe you get that by subscribing, which I don't.

Cherrypi · 29/12/2019 06:44

Looking forward to doing this again this year and think I've encouraged my friend to join in.

byvirtue · 29/12/2019 07:09

I’m doing it! Think this might be my fifth year, although first with a toddler trying to prod the iPad every 30 seconds.

Has the calendar come out yet? I print it off each year then write a brief overview of each day and whether I like the class, great to come back to in the future!

I agree I would love less chat and more intermediate yoga but that’s not really Adriene! I think you have to grin and bare the first week then it gets less chatty and more yoga flow.

Nospringchickendipper · 29/12/2019 12:16

Signed on for it . Hopefully I will get past day 5 this time 😀

Titsywoo · 29/12/2019 17:31

I'm definitely doing this again and like @Nospringchickendipper would like to get past the first week!

daisychain01 · 29/12/2019 19:22

I ended up doing a few lazy downdogs and child poses to fill in the gaps last year - it meant I didn't get fidgety Blush

I don't mind sitting cross legged for a while, but if it's too long, I get cramp in my hip so that's my excuse!

DontWorryYoureJustAsSaneAsIAm · 29/12/2019 20:33

Very excited to do this! I’ve never stuck at a full 30 days before Blush

Really hoping to use this as my unwind after work. Plan is to come straight in & it be the first thing I do!

noodlezoodle · 30/12/2019 20:34

Me! I loved last year's but fell off the thread when I sprained my ankle. Really looking forward to getting going again Smile

CrazyDuchess · 30/12/2019 20:36

Oh I'd like to participate... how do I join up??

sweetkitty · 30/12/2019 20:44

Yes how do you sign in again?

I started last years was enjoying it, got to Day 8, fell on an ornament (yes really) and broke my sternum, was in utter agony for 3 weeks flat on my back, not fully functional for about 2 months and my mojo had gone by then Blush Sad

I have fibromyalgia, sciatica, a bad back, bad hips and pelvis so need to do something to get a bit of flexibility.

sweetkitty · 30/12/2019 22:17

I’ve just signed up. First time doing this and need to commit to doing something every day.

Redpriestandmozart · 31/12/2019 15:15

Count me in, the last two monthly challenges I had to give up halfway due to illness so I'm hoping this will be the one!

PurpleDaisies · 31/12/2019 15:17

I did this last year and really enjoyed it. Definitely count me in.
