Welcome to the final stage of the Chernobyl project 2017, the thread where we will see our target of 70 blankets achieved and even more, plans are already in place for delivery to the wonderful groups, and we can't wait for the children to have their beautiful blankets!

All crafting information can be found on previous threads, have a look here.... We are just so eternally grateful to everyone for every stitch and every moment of time spent on this project, we were worried we had 'bitten off more than we could chew' when we looked at the challenge of 70 blankets, or equivalent of 5600 six inch squares as Knotty worked out! But the Woolly Hugs crew never fail to amaze, thank you everyone so SO much! Thanks

There are 12 more kits out with crafters, and the final sort will be complete by next Thursday.

The party blanket conga-ed off into the distance yesterday afternoon. Heaven knows when it will arrive or what state it will be inwhen it gets there :o

Um... I still have a packet containing 2 12" squares here. Do you still need them and where should I send them?

blanket 56 and blanket 61 and the conga blanket and the cat's bed. leaves about 4 unaccounted for.

ahh the intrigue. are they out in kits or yet to be sorted.... looking forward to watching them appear in the photos.
