OMG how have these tools managed to get the police to dance to they tune every damn time. 🤬
I like that the DM called him a male activist though it's about time the maleness of these drama llama's is highlighted.

Okiedokie123 · 28/10/2025 23:23

Lots of footage of him in this Mr Menno video at the same event that the alleged incident happened.

The umbrella was clearly damaged before she touched it and it wasn't damaged where she touched it after

GargoylesofBeelzebub · 28/10/2025 23:50

Why are the police pursuing “minor vandalism” to an umbrella?!?! FFS. Not as if they have any actual crimes to deal with.

Alpacajigsaw · 28/10/2025 23:55

Utter nonsense

what a piss take. The police just aren’t getting it are they

letsallchant · 29/10/2025 00:01

Ridiculous. Police can't find time to go after all sorts of actual criminals but they can do this?

PinkFrogss · 29/10/2025 00:10

Any other short invisible women get knocked or jostled by umbrellas (usually being held by men) when out and about? Perhaps we should start reporting it as assault if the police take umbrella based crimes so seriously now

Seriestwo · 29/10/2025 00:46

This made me laugh, we all need protective terf brollies now. x.com/gussiegrips/status/1983314333200449926?s=46

WTFAustraliaThisIsWhatHappensHereNow · 29/10/2025 04:15

@Hoardasurass - yes, I remember when it occurred, we were all commenting that the umbrella was broken before it went anywhere near her!

guinnessguzzler · 29/10/2025 05:13

Almost unbelievable. At this time of year you might think they'd be gearing up for all the firework related problematic behaviour if they can't find enough other crime to deal with, but of course non-crime umbrella incidents take priority. Police Scotland really are an absolute embarrassment.

As an aside, everybody knows an umbrella in Edinburgh is a disaster and you cannot expect them to last more than one winter. It's the first rule of Edinburgh, after 'avoid Waverley station' 😂

MoltenLasagne · 29/10/2025 06:48

At this point it's just a farce. Man goes to whack woman with a broken umbrella, woman defends herself, man goes to police to complain that she broke said umbrella despite video evidence to the contrary, police somehow think that this is a valuable use of their time.

Tiddler1976 · 29/10/2025 07:05

The evidence is all there in photograph and video that it was damaged before he was pointing it in her face (and when she had her back to water).

I can only assume Police Scotland want to embarrass themselves over the events of that day more than they already have.

BigGirlBoxers · 29/10/2025 07:15

Stooshie! Another fabulous Scottish word that I have learned courtesy of the hideous saga of gender ideology!

Even if I ever hear it used again for a different row, to me it will always mean: Toweringly tall black-clad whip-muscled man pokes at small woman with rainbow golf brolly and runs off to the police.

PronounssheRa · 29/10/2025 07:20

Police beclowning themselves, again, over a fucking umbrella that was already broken.

I assume they expected Susan to accept the police warning, and go away quietly.

i used to always think just cooperate with the police, nothing to hide nothing to fear etc. Now im more dont concede or admit anything, never accept a warning or caution without really good advice, and no comment at interview is sometime the most sensible thing to do.

SalmonOnFinnCrisp · 29/10/2025 07:22

Agreed.

Alucard55 · 29/10/2025 07:23

The hatred of women and women having a voice is clear to see.

eurochick · 29/10/2025 07:44

Why are the police wasting time with this? The video clearly shows it was broken before she touched it. This is just another way to harass a high-profile GC woman.

borntobequiet · 29/10/2025 07:50

Drawing attention to their spite and idiocy again. It would be welcome but for the annoyance and inconvenience to poor Susan.

GargoylesofBeelzebub · 29/10/2025 08:14

Vandalism requires wilful intent or recklessness. There was clearly no intent or recklessness, she only touched it because he was shoving it in her face as she was on the edge of the water.

The damage to the umbrella was clearly there before the incident and you can also see that the section she touched had no damage.

what are they playing at?!

Ereshkigalangcleg · 29/10/2025 08:25

This is fucking ridiculous. The police are a laughing stock.

BettyFilous · 29/10/2025 08:26

It’s overreach like this in other strands of transactivism which is draining away public support. I feel for Susan. However this hurts their cause more.

Also FFS in a world where the Met is reopening 900 cases of sexual assault and rape of minor girls which were closed inappropriately, and the pattern is likely to be repeated across the country. This is a ridiculous waste of police resources.

Vegemiteandhoneyontoast · 29/10/2025 08:37

It's 9000 not 900, not that it makes much difference. For those cases to be reopened means they were previously closed.

RoyalCorgi · 29/10/2025 08:39

I can see this one day becoming an actual farce in the style of Accidental Death of an Anarchist. I don't know about anyone else but just when I think the police couldn't get any stupider (the arrest of Graham Linehan at Heathrow was a recent example) they beclown themselves further.

genandtonic · 29/10/2025 08:47

It’s that Tom bloke from cabaret of hate ( I think) he was drumming up dancing etc and being the spokesperson/turning up the music at the let women speak in Edinburgh. He was certainly enjoying being centre of attention.
Surely he should have been asked to move along/turn volume down during this?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 29/10/2025 08:49

I’m sure he’ll be at the front of the counter protest on Saturday.
