That really should have won a comedy award. 😂

Never sure what's funnier, the woman thrusting her chest into his or the 'repent' chant sounding like a mad chicken. Or the breaking his sign to make a stick and then pretending to have a nervous breakdown because 'he's got a weapon!'.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 03/11/2025 19:34

It was funny, but it could have ended really badly for the guy with the sign. It was jaw dropping to me when he did that.

Same. The bloody gall of it all.

There's a group of men (this prick, Big Beth, Sparkles and the rest of the odious floor dilating, nipple clampers) who have been emboldened by the shoulder shrugging, non policing in Scotland to behave however they like with no fear of consequences.

This kind of shit needs to countered in the future by the Police growing a spine and saying 'no pal, take your brolly and fuck right off'.

”odious floor dilating nipple clampers”
That has made my day 😂😂😂😂

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 03/11/2025 21:15

is it possible for the police to arrest themselves for wasting their own time?

it all feels a bit inception, but something has to be done about these useless bastards

anyolddinosaur · 04/11/2025 08:52

Love the idea of the police arresting themselves. Yes they should arrest the person at the top who has implemented these policies. However as that isnt going to happen I looked up citizens arrest. Sadly wasting police time is not an indictable offence so an ordinary citizen cant do an arrest.

Back to getting MPS to stand up in Parliament and say loudly and clearly that the police are failing the public.

'Police Scotland's Chief Constable has defended her force's probe into 'Brollygate' calling it an 'alleged crime'.
Chief Constable Jo Farrell was unable to say yesterday when the saga, which has provoked a public outcry, would end despite a possible charge hanging over respected feminist campaigner Susan Smith.
We revealed last week how Ms Smith, a director of For Women Scotland, was reported to police over alleged damage to a rainbow umbrella shoved at her by trans activist Tom Harlow at a Holyrood rally organised by FWS on September 4.

Harlow had been drowning out women speaking at the rally with music and Ms Smith had gone over to ask him to turn it down.
Online footage revealed the umbrella was broken before Ms Smith lightly touched it.
Ms Farrell who had appeared in front of Holyrood's criminal justice committee, told the Mail that a review into the incident was ongoing.
She said: 'We’ll work through the issues that have been brought to our attention, including that issue in relation to the damage to the brolly and we'll come up with our conclusion and our findings.’
Asked if the case was a proportionate use of police time and resources, she said: ‘We're here to support and allow people to exercise their rights around free speech in a democracy.'

Fuck sake

MelOfTheRoses · 06/11/2025 16:32

Oh honestly 🙄

borntobequiet · 06/11/2025 16:38

What a very stupid woman. WTF is wrong with her?

Datun · 06/11/2025 16:45

What, like thousands of people did in about, oh I don't know, 23 seconds?

Waitwhat23 · 06/11/2025 16:53

Yet another example of institutional capture making a national organisation into a laughing stock.

OpheliaWitchoftheWoods · 06/11/2025 17:08

How much money is going to be wasted by this utter clown show? A minimum wage nursery worker could have sorted this in seconds.

nicepotoftea · 06/11/2025 18:09

I hope they put PC Plum from Balamory on the case. I feel it is the kind of investigation that can only be handled by someone of his calibre.

ArabellaSaurus · 06/11/2025 18:21

PC Numpty on the Brolly Squad will be Hinvestigatin.

lcakethereforeIam · 06/11/2025 21:27

‘We're here to support and allow people to exercise their rights around free speech in a democracy.'

That's a bit of a non-sequitor and demonstrably untrue or that little scrote would have been told to turn his noise down and none of this would have happened.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 06/11/2025 23:13

What an idiot that woman is.

Tangentially related, here’s a story of Police Scotland ignoring multiple reports over many years of a man committing sexual assault and fraud against women. They were only spurred on to actually properly investigate him by one of his victims going to the media

Police Scotland don’t really seem to feel that they’re here for women do they?

anyolddinosaur · 07/11/2025 09:04

What a pity the force is led by an idiot. She might redeem herself very slightly if she immediately watched the video herself, instructed her staff to say no case to answer, disciplined those who did not tell the bloke to turn the sound down and charged the complainant with wasting police time.

Tallisker · 07/11/2025 09:22

Yes! Just as easy as that!

OneCraftyMentor · 07/11/2025 09:45

Apologies if anyone has already suggested this, but if it goes to court I'm up for an "Umbrella Flash Mob" routine outside.
