I've never heard of him before but what a brave man to stick his neck above the parapet and be arrested for this cause.
Love how he joked about identifying as woman so a woman should search him.

Police, a rare sight in London, have finally made an arrest, not for knife crime, sexual assault, physical homophobic assault, demanding Jews be killed, but for someone saying gender dysphoria is a mental health issue.

I don't remember any of the men carrying 'threats of violence to women' signs being arrested.

Pride is meant to celebrate gay and lesbian people-same sex attracted people.

I don’t think it can be anything other than a mental health illness. I don’t think people can be born in the ‘wrong bodies’. There is no physical health diagnosis that could be the cause apart form rare chromosome conditions

In all honesty I think it’s a stupidly unhelpful thing to have done

all it does is allow TRA to peddle their ‘most vulnerable ever’ victims narrative again and it’s highly unlikely that the BBC for example are going to balance their coverage of this with all the TRA signs at Prides across UK about punching and killing TERFS

Without knowing anything about him, I wouldn't assume that.

If it was acknowledged that in many instances what is being called "trans" is in fact the symptoms of some other illness, yes, it would be quite a strange and not very nice thing to do.

But we are in a position where people, including doctors, are actually harming people with mental illness by saying that their symptoms are something else entirely.

To me, that could be worth putting on a protest sign, not to stigmatise mental illness or any people who suffer from it, but because those people are let down plus all the other terrible outcomes that are caused by not recognising what is happening.

That being said, I do wonder how many people are likely to be reached with this sign at this particular event.

But - people should not be arrested for saying things someone doesn't like. I find it really ironic that anyone who knows the origins of Pride parades would think that is ok.
