Ben Bradshaw hates and bullies women.

It's not hard to understand.

That isn't as hard to grasp, and he provides lots of confirmatory evidence everywhere he goes! But I do find it hard to work out how there is absolutely no comeback for him. No standards of behaviour or neutrality to be adhered to and no process to follow each time he breaks them. That he is not held accountable for his responsibility to all his constituents, women included, is odd given he is a tax payer funded mp.

Steph seems to be such a popular name these days.

Don’t … I’m getting flashbacks.

The treatment of women in the LP who know that sex is binary and that children should be safeguarded from those insisting they could be born on the wrong body, demonstrates how easy it is for these misogynists run to rampant throughout the party with no consequences.

In case anyone’s interested, this appointment is being discussed on LBC Rachel Johnson, 9 to 10pm I think.

Skyellaskerry · 19/11/2023 20:07

Correction, it’s on 8 till 9.

I've just been on BBC Sounds and notice they've hidden the contents of that Woman's Hour episode. All the other episodes list the full contents in headlines on the main Woman's Hour web page, but for this episode, it's just 'Justice Secretary Alex Chalk on sentencing reforms'. Funny that.

Oh dear, Emma is probably in a spot of bother. Anyone who hasn’t written maybe should consider doing so.

Up on charges of Failure to Pander

A little late to the party, but perhaps all the better for it

Not entirely unsupportive of Steph and Jodie. The writer is trying to see the baby through the bathwater. I'd not heard of the 'bikini approach' before but it's an excellent phrase to use in a critique of gender ideology and all the harms that flow from it, especially in women's medicine.

Endometriosis meets gender ideology | Octavia Sheepshanks | The Critic Magazine

The real problem is not the appointment of a transgender woman as CEO of an endometriosis charity…

Interesting, thank you.

I still maintain that if Steph is a suitable CEO then it should be clarified that transmen are the focus of the charity.

The job title feels excessive for one of several volunteers. Who suggested the title to go with the assistance, I wonder.

Does remind me a little of the leader of a tinpot junta with his uniform all over gold braid and self awarded medals.

So shiny, he can see his face in it! If he tilts it.....just.....so.

I read that in the same way my mother used to play this little piggy went to market and this little piggy had roast beef with my toes!

pickledandpuzzled · 23/11/2023 15:03

I just read Cake’s post and thought ‘ah, bless!’

Then remembered how damaging the jumped up bemedalled tinpot dictators are, and dialled back. I wouldn’t give real power to a toddler in a dress up beefeater uniform either.
