You may attend in person or remote viewing has been quite limited but you can request log in details from

Email [email protected]

Header should read

URGENT CURRENT CASE - Public Access Request - J Phoenix - The Open University - 3322700/2021

Ask for access link and pin and please give your name and address in the email as they check when you connect to the tribunal.

Hi ickky

What time do we start today? 10?

AutumnCrow · 16/10/2023 09:23

Morning. I'm really grateful for this thread as I can't follow proceedings in real time, and I appreciate the MN commentary on top of Tribunal Tweets.

ickky · 16/10/2023 09:45

10am start I believe.

ickky · 16/10/2023 09:47

Dr Chris Williams (CW) is up today according to TT.

And we're off...

MyLadyDisdainlsYetLiving · 16/10/2023 10:03

LOL, we're in and someone was very excited about that before they muted their mike!

PoshCoffee · 16/10/2023 10:03

Good morning everyone. We’re in nice and promptly this morning

ickky · 16/10/2023 10:03

BC still croaky

OP posts:
Melissamelisante · 16/10/2023 10:04

I got kicked out (or did something myself. Hope they let me back in and it's not oversubscribed.

PoshCoffee · 16/10/2023 10:04

Oh dear poor BC and JP. Ben sounds v croaky and Jo is feeling under the weather

ickky · 16/10/2023 10:05

Jo feeling a tad unwell also and will need to occasionally get up to walk about.

OP posts:
Mmmnotsure · 16/10/2023 10:05

Everyone is ill. Ben still croaky. Instructing solicitor not in. JP not feeling well. Not surprising.

Melissamelisante · 16/10/2023 10:05

Phew! Back in!

CriticalCondition · 16/10/2023 10:05

I think according to the discussions last week in no particular order it's Williams, Shakesheff and Bowes-Catton. But that's only an estimated two and a half hours of cross exam so there must be someone else.

MyLadyDisdainlsYetLiving · 16/10/2023 10:05

Chris Williams in the seat and affirming.

chilling19 · 16/10/2023 10:06

Oh no, his voice sounds very self righteous

Melissamelisante · 16/10/2023 10:06

31 guests logged in 0 waiting in the waiting room.

nauticant · 16/10/2023 10:07

There's a nasty cold around at the moment, all round the country. It wiped me out for several days and I'm still struggling although much improved and very glad I'm having another quiet recovery day at home.

ickky · 16/10/2023 10:07

Justin the clerk said not to keep coming in and out as it is disruptive.

OP posts:
Melissamelisante · 16/10/2023 10:07

I know it's serious stuff but I really find myself wanting to boo and hiss like in a pantomime.

Poor BC, he's terribly croaky.

ickky · 16/10/2023 10:08

BC to CW you are using the term terf as slur aren't you? CW NO

OP posts:
JoIsBraverThanIAm · 16/10/2023 10:09

Ben making statements (amounting to "you dislike terfs") and ignoring CW's saying "no" to each one.

PoshCoffee · 16/10/2023 10:09

ickky · 16/10/2023 10:07

Justin the clerk said not to keep coming in and out as it is disruptive.

How rude! Most of us are kicked out for no reason then have to wait for ages to get back in

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/10/2023 10:11

Another pompous male TRA ally.

Melissamelisante · 16/10/2023 10:11

I don't see Ben lasting the day, let alone the morning with that throat.
