I thought this just got deleted on other threads

This is the feminism section.

Moltenpink · 15/03/2021 18:08

The other girls aren’t asked any questions though? Or did I miss a bit?

ErrolTheDragon · 15/03/2021 18:08

Do you think starting another thread is conducive to civil debate,, OP?

Shizuku · 15/03/2021 18:08

@Wrongsideofhistorymyarse

This is the feminism section.
The feminism section is where trans children and how they interact with their peers is constantly under discussion.

Maybe OP has seen sense and is ready to stop being offensive.

Do you object to any of the words this time?

Why did you repost this OP? What are you hoping to achieve?

Quoting from the Observer (sister paper to the Guardian) from their leader about the Keira Bell High Court judgement:

Children are not pawns to be deployed in adult debates about identity .

I'm hoping to show members of this group a real life example of a trans girl interacting with her peers, given that hypothetical interactions between trans girls and their peers are constantly under discussion here.

The context of this thread is that you posted the same link and then started another thread using terms you surely knew were unlikely to lead to lead to civil debate off the link itself.

Juliesipadwillcallyouback · 15/03/2021 18:12

So, a boy likes to play Barbies, wear dresses and wear wigs and that means.... He's actually a girl?

Well, that's not sexist at all is it? Hmm

Shizuku · 15/03/2021 18:13

@Flaunch

Are you fucking shitting me?
No, I'm educating you.

ToastyFingers · 15/03/2021 18:13

They didn't ask any other girls how they felt though? The video doesn't even touch on what it's it's like to have a trans classmate, it's just another video of what it's like to be trans.

Fembot123 · 15/03/2021 18:14

I’m sure that poster would feel patronised if they actually thought you had any credibility

And? This is supposed to make women stop fighting to retain their sex based rights?

Coffeeandcocopops · 15/03/2021 18:14

Cheeky

JayAlfredPrufrock · 15/03/2021 18:14

I don’t need educating thank you

You know how kids like to do what other people in their peer group are doing?

And you know how girls tend to play with Barbie dolls more than boys?

And you know how trans girls see other girls as their peer group?

OP posts:
MrsWooster · 15/03/2021 18:16

Girls have a right to spaces free from penises. It’s our job as parents to reassure them that their own rights exist and supersede the social conditioning they experience to ‘be kind’.
It is also unkind to lie to children: telling a child that they can ‘change sex’ is wrong and telling children that another child has ‘changed sex’ is wrong and telling a child that they should submit to sexist social stereotypes is wrong.

This has been shared and is being discussed on the other thread at the same time? Wouldn't it be better to keep the discussion in the same place?

Isn't that just kids playing 🤔🤷‍♀️

The other thread got deleted because the OP was being goady. I see this one going the same way before long
