Can't remember why but Julia & I both thought it was funny.

I don't know what Prior thinks they're achieving by posting screenshots on twitter of what people here think of their behaviour, but I suspect it may not have the effect they are hoping for.

Some of you on this thread are playing into Joss Prior's trolly hands. I think some of those whipping up hysteria against MNHQ may have their own agendas, which I suspect are closely aligned with Joss Prior's.

I hope MNHQ will reinstate LangCleg, but I don't for one minute think she was banned because @HebeMumsnet or anyone else from MNHQ was colluding with Joss Prior.

I completely agree. Ignore the tedious goady trolls, on this thread and elsewhere, as usual.

I think there is truth in this.

I absolutely withdraw my reference to 'colluding', I do think the messages from MNHQ were a Big Fob Off and not Big Brother, and I feel desperately sorry for Hebe. Whoever she may be. She has been dragged into something public and horrible under a decision which was doubtless not hers alone to make.

But I do think the banning of LangCleg is disgraceful on a site which is notable for its professed belief in free speech.

Justine@MNHQ has always been really good in the media about MN being different because of allowing free speech and robust debate. Banning LangCleg is way, way off brand.

I have certainly noted a number of deletions for certain posters who then still seem to be able to continue posting. I'm hoping MN is going to take action.
