I was called a uterus haver, in a what'sapp chat, aimed at promoting female health,in a family chat...
The person who sent it is very woke, does lots for the community, lgbt and sporting.
I didn't reply as did no one else.
I said to my partner that it is an attempt at normalising that language, the one that can't say woman...

What does that mean?

Uterus haver is such shitty syntax apart from anything else. At least they could say 'uterus owner'.

Tell them that 'uterus haver' makes you feel dehumanised and that you prefer to be called a woman. Why shouldn't your preference be taken into account?

OhHolyJesusit's my partners family, if it was mine, well, they wouldn't say it, and if they did I would have it out! It's one of those family chats that are usually just about the kids pictures. I'm just pissed off that it's infiltrated something so mundane as a family what'sapp chat...

I really don't understand TRA wanting to call people by what body parts they have, do they really want to be called penis/testes/Bollocks havers? Surely being called trans would be preferable to Bollocks haver - or am i just being far to logical for TRA, I know it's not a strong point of theirs.

Gamer it's my Inlaws WhatsApp chat, with one very woke cousin saying this stuff. It seems innocent if your are not GC and don't have clue about what's going on... It's s the normalising of this language that I'm pissed off at.

OK so I could get outed for this as it's a very specific issue. I'm from Ireland, you may or may have not heard that there is a huge scandal about cervical check, ie smeer tests. So far 3 prominent campaigners have died because of smear tests not being read correctly. Yes, I said they have die, 3 or more women have died because if this. Someone on a what'sapp chat sent a reminder to "all those with a cervix to get a smear test"
