I was called a uterus haver, in a what'sapp chat, aimed at promoting female health,in a family chat...
The person who sent it is very woke, does lots for the community, lgbt and sporting.
I didn't reply as did no one else.
I said to my partner that it is an attempt at normalising that language, the one that can't say woman...

And men in dresses changing material reality by saying special words...lots of parallels!

Ereshkigal you’ve been very patient with the derailer, it is their favourite pastime here so I wouldn’t bother anymore.

I’d say something if someone said that to me. Women. The word is women.

You have to play these nutters at their own game. Arguing back doesn't work. Telling them you've been offended at their insensitive language will likely give them a bit of a panic and pause for thought if they are just a low level woketard as the offence is the most henious crime to them.

Yea I think I will go wit a pp posters suggestion of adding in the word woman to my replies,if it happens again, which is very possible. Thanks everyone who replied with good advice

Play the biggest victim, that is the only way to win the game with Wokesters.

Tell them that you have been mortally offended, and experienced literal violence, when they called you the 'too horrible to mention turn of phrase again'.

Woman is your chosen term, and is one which just happens to reflect your biological sex class.

You can also tell them, that, literally 180+ messages have been shared on Mumsnet by women similarly horrified by their injurious stupidity and their denial of our sex-based rights which were fought for to protect women and girls from millennia of sex-based oppression.

Language matters.

My cat and at least one of my hamsters has a uterus...my mother does not..

ROFL.

And yes, it's absurdly offensive to be boiled down to body parts rather than just naming me as a person. Let alone the fact that the existence (or not) of my uterus is none of anyone's business except medical professionals involved in my care!
