(Apologies if the link isn't clicky, not done this before!)

Has anyone been before? I'd not heard of FiLiA before but what I'm reading looks pretty promising!

Clicky link

I'll be there Smile

I think quite a few from MN were there last year, and the year before.

I've been twice now & Salford was the best yet. I met a lot of amazing women & it was great to see FiLiA tackling the sex & gender issue head-on.

I'm planning to go this year but might wait a bit longer to see the speaker line-up first.

MySkirtHasPockets · 17/12/2018 18:26

Thank you Laura I'm rubbish with anything tech related!

Empress yeah I'd seen something FiLiA had published about the current sex/gender carry on and I was impressed!

It was great, Skirt. And lovely to see so many Adult Human Female & Hands Off My Rights T-shirts!

Agenda for the conference is up and speaker details are being released!

looks interesting thanks for posting

OvaHere · 09/08/2019 13:45

I'm thinking of going. Not bought a ticket yet though.

witchesaremysisters · 09/08/2019 13:54

I'm excited about this agenda!

Very interested in the panels on women's health, surrogacy, violence against lesbians, and "from born in your own body" to "invention of the transgender child."

Sadly not able to go, but have bought a solidarity ticket so that someone else can.

vaginafetishist · 09/08/2019 14:36

I'm going, feel so excited seeing the programme!

Twolittlespeckledfrogs · 09/08/2019 14:38

I’m thinking about it. I have a few too many wokesters in my life though so feel a bit anxious about it. It looks amazing though.

Cuntysnark · 09/08/2019 14:39

I’ve got my ticket :-)

AncientLights · 09/08/2019 15:22

I have a ticket too. Never been to one before so looking forward to it.

The agenda has very little on it relating to trans issues if that's what worries you. Anyone who objects to the content of the conference isn't worth bothering with.

Rocaille · 09/08/2019 15:33

This looks really interesting. I'm unsure as to whether I should go alone or bring 6 year-old DD with me. Does anyone have any knowledge of the children's programme? Couldn't find much on the website.

Oh, thanks Spartacus. I think I'll take a chance and bring her with me. Hopefully we'll be able to avoid a whinge-a-thon.

CharlieParley · 09/08/2019 15:39

I got my ticket. Not booked a hotel yet, but looking forward to it. Never been to anything like this before.

Socrates11 · 09/08/2019 16:46

Definitely would be a great conference to attend. Real-life feminism is the way forward. Just working out transport/accomodation to see how do-able it all is.

vaginafetishist · 09/08/2019 18:07

I took my daughter, the children's activities were fantastic and she's been a hard core feminist ever since!

TinselAngel · 09/08/2019 18:44

I'm going.

chilling19 · 09/08/2019 22:28

I'm going and really looking forward to it!

chilling19 · 09/08/2019 22:30

Tinsel be good to meet you, and everyone else. How can we do this?

nonsenceagain · 09/08/2019 22:55

Can’t wait!
