Has anyone been before? I'd not heard of FiLiA before but what I'm reading looks pretty promising!

Deeley bobbers: those bonkers googly things on wire coil stalks attached to a hairband. Variants available: gold stars, red glitter ping-pong balls,snowmen etc. There's probably another word for them, but I can only speak 1970/80s Scots 🤗

I'm going! Not travelling as I live a short drive from Bradford. Which means I won't be at the evening do 😔 has anyone heard anything about protests? I saw a screenshot on twitter today and am a bit worried as I'll be bringing my children with me

One person made a crap attempt at encouraging a protest and then promptly deleted the tweet. I don't think it got any traction and I've not seen anything else, so I'd be surprised if there were any.

Does anyone know which talks Julie Bindel is speaking at? The programme layout is a bit confusing.

Well that was an amazing day. Incredible panels, provocative art, inspiring women, harrowing at times talk, poignant moving memorial march and service, and then dancing for hours with wall to wall women.

There was a somewhat impromptu open-mic night that was amazing! A really diverse mix of poetry, comedy, music, and more.

The protestors made zero impact. There was about 5 of them with a "support your sisters not just your cis-ters " banner. They left after an hour or so. They were honestly the least exciting thing of the day.

I saw a picture of 4 protestors outside, 2 men and 2 women. I didnt see them but didn't leave the hotel much yesterday.
