I had a fit of rage earlier after reading one too many posts declaring 'I don't care about women's sports/toilets/hospital wards'. It seems perfectly acceptable to say that because its only women.

But the same people expect me to put the rights of TIMS ahead of women, And shout 'transphobia' if I ask why they wont make their own spaces.

This is misogyny.

Women who do not hate women as much as men do are clearly bigoted against men.

I’m raging too, OP. But I’m also oddly hopeful because so many women seem to have woken up to this. We will organise as much as we have to, and we will fight until we’ve won this.

Rage is good. But this has just let all the air out of me.

I can't articulate the ways in which the constant objectification, intrusion, exploitation and disrespect which come with being female have poisoned and derailed my life. I can't express how exhausting I find this ongoing battle for personhood. I can't do justice to the anger and grief I feel at the trauma and suffering that women and girls are exposed to for no other reason than that society thinks they don't matter.

Fuck you Labour. You are "transphobic" for not accepting males who present differently. You are "transphobic" for thinking trans identifying women don't need similar protection to natal women.
Fuck you Labour for twisting the meaning of language to suit biological males; as if our language wasn't already doing that. How privileged to be able to say "the right side of history" when you know too well even history doesn't fully represent women. I go through phases of rage and despair. At the moment I'm despairing. Need to take a step back and regroup.

I’ve been lurking on these boards for about six months now, and have had my eyes well and truly opened by the courageous, intelligent women who post here. I tend to read rather than post as I’m not particularly eloquent and often tie myself in knots trying to get my head around everything. But I had to delurk just to share my rage at what is happening, particularly with regards to what self-ID means for safe spaces for women and children, and safeguarding. I voted for Labour because of Corbyn and was elated when Labour did better than expected at the General Election. I was so ready to see them in power. I feel let down and very angry.

The people who keep saying we're over reacting, scare mongering, it's just a few, it won't make much difference, of course it won't happen that intact men are in sensitive women only environments.... READ before you speak!
