thanks.

WideWebWitch · 23/02/2005 19:47

Thanks for starting a new thread. Today

1 piece toast, olive spread, marmite
1 apple
1 pear
1 marmite rice cake (30 cals)
2 pieces toast with houmous
then went to a friend's for lunch and had to eat (as she'd invited me and made stuff, I'd thought she would just be doing childrens food) so 2 (small) pieces of ciabatta, one with homemade houmous on it, one with homemade guacamole, some green salad, 1 stick celery, 1 slice of tomato
2 (tiny, cut up for baby so v small) slices of a Pizza Express margherita pizza I did for children's tea and 1 normal thin slice with no cheese on it, oops
5 fishfingers
loads of peas
and I have to have chocolate tonight since it's my night of watching hours and hours of tv. I walked to school and back one way and did quite ab it of housework too. And the skirt I ordered came and I ordered it a size smaller than I thought I was as I'm on a diet but IT FITS! And is ever so slightly loose! So I may dare to weigh after my period. Thanks for listening!

I know I shouldn't have done... but I lost another pound! Think it is probably more to do with caloried burnt breast feeding that my not so existant diet, but it's gone anyhow! Two pounds short of a stone now! So.......I finished off the rest of the ice cream to start afresh tomorrow to go on a mission this week to loose the other two stone by next wednesday. Repeat after me... This will be a good week, this will be a good week....

Well done about the skirt www! I'm currently wearing my pre-pregnancy trousers quite comfortably! Admittedly, they were loose before but it's progress and I don't want to take them off - ever!!

Ps, thanks for the thread champs!

Evesmama · 23/02/2005 21:34

its gone..so dont talk about it! it might come back and bite you on the bum, dont think it was 'luck' you did good

Flossam · 23/02/2005 21:39

Thanks Evesmama. Just re-read my post. Not even I (diet virgin) expect to loose 2 stone by next week. I meant two pounds!!

moonshine · 24/02/2005 10:57

Hello all! Have been away for a while, have been really really bad and depressed about the whole freaking thing so have decided to do a Reggie Perrin and reinvent myself in the hope that it will get me back on track (I was the mnter formerly known as monkeygirl). I was doing so well but was thrown off track by one debauched weekend, sigh.

Anyway - onwards and (weight) downwards, hopefully. Sorry, have not had a chance to catch up with all the last thread but I can see that there is some good work going on out there - so well done all you losers!(meant in the nicest possible way of course!!).

Flossam, I am still 2 lbs short of a stone so I'm going to follow your lead and aim for about next Wednesday as well (wish I could lose 2 stone by then but that would entail chopping off an arm!).

And welcome to WWW - gawd but it's nice when tight clothes suddenly become loose - so much more satisfying than seeing the scales going down I think - well done!

bran · 24/02/2005 13:27

Hi Moonshine - good to see you again.

I'm slinking back to confess that I have been very bad indeed, I haven't been counting my points, I've been eating high gi foods and yesterday I had a whole bar of G&B and I don't mean one of those little ones. Worse still, I have another one hidden away (special offer in Waitrose) and I intend to eat it, as well as birthday cake on Sunday (more than one piece, but probably not the whole cake). Then it's definitely back on the plan. A good sign is that my body can't tolerate chocolate the way it used to, my heart was thumping after I at the choc, and it was still thumping when I was trying to go to sleep.

Everyone else is doing great though, great news all round about fitting into smaller sizes. I think my hips and waist must be exactly the same size now as I now don't have to undo any of my trousers to take them off although they are still reasonably snug on my waist. It's not a particularly good look - next time you see me on here in the evenings someone please shout at me to go and do sit-ups.

Tee-hee - I was posting from work just after 6 I think I would have gotten a few strange looks doing sit-ups there.

I'm home now though, and I will do some sit-ups as soon as I have had dinner (scotch broth and ryvita with houmus). Thanks for shouting.

WideWebWitch · 24/02/2005 19:46

I weighed myself this morning and the scales momentarily said I'd lost a total of 1.5 stone. They're not digital so a minute later of course I'd lost 2lbs less but hey, it's still 1.5 stone since 4th Jan so I'm pleased. Today

boiled egg
2 pieces of toast, olive spread, marmite
1 apple
handful of grapes
2 veggie burgers (homemade) in a muffin, burgers made with kidney beans, onions, garlic, parsley, breadcrumbs and olive oil and fried oops. They were lovely but not particularly non fattening. Oh well, maybe next time I'll make some in advance so I have time to bake them. And I won't cook the onion and garlic in oil first.
Some dairy free chocolate (prob 200 cal worth) after a particularly bad stressful morning
a few strawberries
another handful of grapes
And I don't know what to have tonight. Maybe a poussin. Or maybe just pitta bread and fruit or something.

WideWebWitch · 24/02/2005 19:47

And small glass of apple juice with the egg.

soapbox · 24/02/2005 19:48

www - thats fantastic - well done

I lurk in every so often to see how people are getting on, but I'm back on the Lighterlife diet for a few weeks trying to lose the last stone, adn all the talk of 'real food' here gets me obsessive about eating

PuffTheMagicDragon · 24/02/2005 19:52

www - well done.

Well supper was 2 pittas, each with melted cheese (not much but still not good) and french mustard and then 2 x 20g bars of G&B milk chocolate @ 100 cals each. NOT GOOD.

PuffTheMagicDragon · 25/02/2005 10:34

Don't worry www - just try to adjust your calorie intake over the next couple of days to allow for said yummy naughties !

WideWebWitch · 26/02/2005 11:13

Yesterday:

1 piece toast
1 apple
50g smoked salmon
half an avocado
1 broccoli floret
loads of peas
2 baby sweetcorn

2 packets Kallo soya bites (113 cal each)
1 poussin
shedloads of wine, prob drank most of a bottle
20g bar G&B chocolate

This morning so far, a hangover, water, black coffee and a bacon sandwich. I'm going back on the straight and narrow tomorrow.

hmmm..am mega mega happy..but!...i cant see any difference?, jeans are a little looser, but cant 'tell' as such? could it be cos i have a 'lot' to lose and doesnt show so well?

dont worry about offending here!

moonshine · 28/02/2005 11:56

Tis me -ex simian-girl.
Must admit, when I was smaller and lost weight I/people noticed quite quickly but when I lost weight before getting pregnant I was much bigger and it took until I'd lost 2 stones before anyone noticed!!! Slightly depressing,k but the important thing is that you are losing weight and feeling happier in yourself - which you sound like you are - are you???

moonshine · 28/02/2005 11:57

Aplogies for bad typing - lack of sugar .

moonshine · 28/02/2005 11:57

Apologies - doh. It's worse than I thought!!
