Well done evesmama! 2lbs is good! I've been crap this weekend. Saturday was too bad to even post (tf for that I hear you say) yesterday

1 piece toast
1 sesame snap (130 cal)
1 pack soya bites (113 cal)
1 apple
1 dried apricot
handful of grapes
smoked salmon sandwich
a few 7 cal rice cakes
chinese chicken from Fat Girl Slim
tomato and red pepper salad
green salad
boiled potatoes with fat free salad dressing
200 cal chocolate and then
a piece of Nigella's chocolate cake dp made yesterday . And I licked the chocolate icing bowl. Oh well.

Today
1 piece toast
1 smoked salmon sandwich
And I've walked quite a bit so far.
Will also eat some fruit this afternoon and then we've got tuna steaks for supper. So today I will redeem myself. Thanks for listening.

Evesmama · 28/02/2005 22:19

thanks girls

good to see everyone enjoying them selves and by that i also mean not beating ourselves up when we.god forbid...have a night out, or go to a party!! horror

i do feel better in myself moonshine, but'cant tell' by looking in mirror

well got a colour for my hair and some new miracle de frizz cream, so am gonna glam up when i get a minute this week, then hopefully, ill start feeling like a new woman!!bet dp wishes i was!

moonshine · 01/03/2005 07:48

Evemama - but when you and others finally do start noticing it will be quite dramatic and very exciting so hang on in there! What colour are you going for then?? I'm desperate to cover my grey bits but cos I have very dark almost black hair any colour I dye it at home always looks - well black (unless the sun is shining directly on it)! I'd love to have some highlights/lowlights but can't afford it atm.

WWW - your dp makes cakes !!! Don't tell me he cleans after himself and puts the toilet seat down as well ??

Evesmama · 01/03/2005 08:41

well am washed out red on end and dark roots
and am hoping it will go deep brown, but might look a bit like morticia as i am very pasty at min!!

Keane · 01/03/2005 08:53

well done everyone and evesmama

I am off for weigh in this morning, am still desperately hoping I have lost my first 10% but not holding out for it as I have been awful ALL WEEKEND

Evesmama · 01/03/2005 09:02

fingers crossed
let us know when you get back!

moonshine · 01/03/2005 10:43

I've spent my life looking morticia-ish as I inherited my mum's dark hair but not her olive skin - don't know who gave me this pale pasty one!

Good luck Keane - I've been bad all of February but have just been stuck really around the same weight for ages, sigh.

Keane · 01/03/2005 11:36

i puit on 2lb started to think sharing a bottle of wine in the evenings is to blame, even though i have really (almost) stuck to the points

Evesmama · 01/03/2005 11:44

never mind hun, you know where it coming from and im sure youll have a good weigh in next week

well its done..the colours on and washed...but its time for dd's lunch so have wrapped up in towel till i get a minute......????

WideWebWitch · 01/03/2005 13:29

Moonshine, yes, he does half the housework/childcare/shopping etc (sometimes he's a sahd, atm I'm a sahm) puts the loo seat down and makes great cakes. But I don't want him to make cakes atm, I ate 2 slices yesterday afternoon! And thne had 3 fishfingers and peas for supper so I don't think the whole day was that terrible. I don't even like chocolate cake much but it was so delicious. I have resisted it today though and will continue to do so. Oh no Keane! Well, next week will be better I'm sure. Wine is the culprit I bet.

Today
1 piece toast
1 sesame snap (130 cals)
1 smoked salmon sandwich, just bread, no butter or spread
1 dried apricot
and I've walked at least 2 miles today.
I will eat an apple this afternoon and then I'm going to my mum's later so will try not to eat there.

Keane · 01/03/2005 15:42

fishfingers and peas is fine www

PuffTheMagicDragon · 01/03/2005 18:02

Well done on losing 2lbs Evesmama.

I stayed the same this week, been good, but nothing shifted. Musn't complain too much as I lost 5 lbs last week.

Evesmama · 01/03/2005 21:05

thanks puff

and staying the same is good especially as you had such a big loss last week, your body has to stop and steady itself and get used to the weight difference..just think if its 5lb every two weeks youll be laughing!!

WideWebWitch · 02/03/2005 09:51

Hmm, last night drank loads of wine today so far
bacon sandwich
fried egg sandwich
no exercise
lots of water
oops

PuffTheMagicDragon · 02/03/2005 09:53

www. What were you celebrating?

Keane · 02/03/2005 09:54

www

I just feel when the weather is like this I could eat a horse and I cant be arsed doing any exercise

moonshine · 02/03/2005 10:20

Keane - I know about the effects of the evil drink so sympathies, but in the grand scheme of things it's nothing, so onwards and downwards.

WWW - fried egg sandwich eh...I made the fatal error of seeing if ds liked eggy bread the other day. He didn't...but guess who remembered how scrumptious it is [drool].

Evesmama · 02/03/2005 10:25

well i was gunna go swimming with dd today but woke up to thin layer of snow and 3-4 inches fell in last half hour

WideWebWitch · 02/03/2005 12:36

Puff, I had a huge row with my evil step father so I was drowning my sorrows I am having a mini organic pizza for lunch and I had half a bar of chocolate at 11am! Today is a write off, so I'll just start again tomorrow Moonshine, I know, I make dd cheese omelette sometimes, I KNOW she won't eat it but I really want her to eat egg so keep trying it but it's SO tempting, very hard to resist and looks delicious.

PuffTheMagicDragon · 02/03/2005 12:47

Sorry you had a bad day www. You'll get back on track when you feel ready .

tortoiseshell · 02/03/2005 23:08

Www is looking good! And her skirt is looking loose! (Just popped in to say well done really! Sorry you had a bad day.)

PuffTheMagicDragon · 02/03/2005 23:13

eek! I've eaten half a pack of cheddars and feel sick . Dh bought a bottle of red wine (most unusual) - I had 1 and a half glasses and now want to eat everything in sight aaaaggghhhh!

WideWebWitch · 03/03/2005 06:50

Thanks tortoiseshell! Puff, I am back on the straight and narrow again today. Yesterday though, was AWFUL, look ->

1 bacon sandwich (fried, NOT grilled!)
1 fried egg sandwich
half a bar of chocolate
about 10 pieces of white bread from a soft loaf absolutely slathered with butter
3 fishfingers
About 8 squares of Dairy Milk with Crunchie in it

No exercise, no fruit, no veg. Ah well.

Puff, I know that feeling, which is why I just can't drink and diet. But 1.5 glasses isn't too bad. Cheddars are 65 cal each iirc, so that's probably only, er, 650 calories How is everyone else doing? I feel as if I'm monopolising this thread a bit, I do apologise but it's really helping me to think I have to report what I've eaten. I thank you for listening!

moonshine · 03/03/2005 07:47

WWW - I like to see what other people are eating actually. Helps shame me or make me feel not so bad sometimes! As I've said I had a terrible Feb in many ways and so have been half-hiding but I'm really trying to get back on track. Yesterday was ok but still not brilliant. Luckily I had no choc in the house despite searching every drawer in the house, including my dd's .

Puff - what willpower with the wine - only 1.5 glasses - respect.

Evesmama · 03/03/2005 08:50

RIGHT!!!
been a bit bleurgh for the last couple of days and scales are showing it, so have to get my act together as got 5 days to make good of this week!
