One month body blitz starting tomorrow

Anyone care to join me?

I'm starting tomorrow, giving myself a month, to try and sort myself out. One month doesn't sound too daunting!

I have at least two stone to lose, which will obviously take time, I'm not expecting a miracle in one month.

Also, the fatter I get the more I have let myself go so I intend to start using all the beauty products currently gathering dust, and take more care of my appearance.

I know that with a bit of effort, I can make positive visible changes. I really don't like what I see in the mirror right now.

I will post my starting weight in the morning and will make Monday my weekly weigh day.

Can I join? Only about 10lbs to lose but man it’s stubborn and none of my clothes got! I’ve got a big get together end of July and want to look good for then!

I’m trying to lose half a stone and I started a few weeks ago but I find these threads really motivating if you don’t mind me joining! It’s nice to know there are others going through the same thing!

I’m doing high protein and loads of exercise. I workout quite a lot already but have been skipping the hard stuff (I lost 2.5 stone but then got married so I need to lose the honeymoon weight!). I’m also 5 foot 7 so I’m going to be eating 1700-1900 calories a day.

What sort of diets are you all going to be doing?

My plan is to stop stuffing my face with chocolate and cake and to make healthier choices, and much smaller portions. I seem to have the ability to eat a shocking amount of food and not feel ill. This needs to stop.

I'd like to join too please. I'm currently doing slimming world so my weigh in is a Saturday. Have been in a bit of a rut and need a kick up the bum. I have about 3 stone to lose. Totally recognise the lack of effort all round as you say. I have got in the habit of just not looking in the mirror, rarely wear make up, wear t-shirt and leggings everyday etc.

I have just bought ring fit adventure for the switch to try to spur me into doing some exercise as I am not an active person at all but am a bit of a gamer so hopefully that will help.

I'd like to join - I've lost 10lbs recently but would like to lose another 10. I'd like to get to 11 stone by the time I go away in July.

I've cut out cakes, crisps and sausages, try to do IF 16:8 and am trying to move more - even just longer walks.

My current weight is 11.6 (was 12.2 at start of May). I'm tall so have a normal BMI of 23.

Recently lost 2.5 stones but fell off the wagon about a month ago and need to get back on new lose my final 10lbs or so!!

Hello, can I join in too?

I have 3 stone to shift, hopefully making a decent indent before i start my new job in September.

Plan to have about 1400cals per day, walk more and do some of joe wicks beginner exercise sessions. Definitely need to cut back on the booze and snacks!

Me! Should be easier than normal as I'm recovering from Covid and have lost my sense of taste / smell Smile. Less temptation to snack because everything tastes horrid!

I'm so upset and fed up so I eat more crap to make it feel better .. 🤨

Yes I'll weigh again on Monday to stay in sync.

Going to do my nails tonight to give me a bit of a lift. I need to start putting a bit of effort into all aspects of my appearance again. I think I will try to post each day the little bits I've done to try to keep me on track, if that's okay.

Hi @Brunilde, I plan to post every day with my mini goals. I will be going through my beauty stuff tonight.

Tomorrow I shall tackle my feet, I have one of those electric pedi things so no more excuses.

I'll join. I have gained about a stone over the last couple of years and now seem to be of an age where just cutting down on the biscuits for a few weeks isn't going to cut it. I would like to loose a stone before my holiday in mid-aug.

Can I join too please? Have ended up at my heaviest weight ever and just seriously lacking motivation to do anything about it despite how bad I feel about it, so hope that having someone to be accountable to will spur me on! I’m not sure exactly how much weight I want to lose, just want my clothes to fit better and to feel better about myself, especially coming in to summer.
