One month body blitz starting tomorrow

Anyone care to join me?

I'm starting tomorrow, giving myself a month, to try and sort myself out. One month doesn't sound too daunting!

I have at least two stone to lose, which will obviously take time, I'm not expecting a miracle in one month.

Also, the fatter I get the more I have let myself go so I intend to start using all the beauty products currently gathering dust, and take more care of my appearance.

I know that with a bit of effort, I can make positive visible changes. I really don't like what I see in the mirror right now.

I will post my starting weight in the morning and will make Monday my weekly weigh day.

I'll join please. Need to lose 2 stone but I'll settle for 1 stone first of all. It's just crept on slowly but surely over the last 3 years. I am going to try cutting out bread and going low carb. Also 16:8 works quite well for me although I find it very hard not to snack on crap in the evenings. I think if I could absolutely stop eating anything after 7pm I'd be well on my way. But I seem to have some sort of self sabotaging addiction which kicks in about 8pm!

Can I join you? I started this last Saturday. That first lockdown last year did for me. I've put two stone on.

Anyway, two things to share which might help: 1. if you're counting calories and know you have something coming up where there's food and drink and you may find it hard to stick to your plan, save calories the rest of the week so you don't blow things at the weekend, or whenever the event is.

  1. If you're walking to get your steps in but find it hard to do 10k every day, but have more time some days, it's okay to average your steps out over a week. So I've had two days where I did around 15k steps and others when I was under 10k.

Yes please I’m in, need to loose a couple of stones- I totally get you about letting yourself go keep thinking I’d love to feel a little bit glamorous. Hate seeing and not recognising the scruffy old bag in the mirror!

Can I join? I need something to hold me accountable... I lost a few kg in January but have since piled some of it back on. I want to lose about 6kg and get back to a healthy BMI. I think the key for me will be to cut down on chocolate and stop eating after dinner in the evening!

Evening snacking has always been my issue. I've recently started brushing my teeth at the same time as my 7mo does before he goes to bed, and then I put my retainer in. That's my tactic to prevent the late night snacking and tbf it does work 🤣

However, I seem to have taken up mid afternoon snacking in its place Blush

I'll tag along, I think one month of effort should show some good results and will spur me on to keep going (I normally quit after a week so being held to account for a month will be a good thing).

Yes, totally in wth you. I have 1.5 stone to lose before holiday in August. Booze/crisps and kids leftovers are my absolute weaknesses! So embarrassing. Will weigh in tomorrow morning. Good luck everyone!

joining too! 3 stone to shift!
cutting the snacks, got the exercise on youtube sorted and some weights at home.
smaller portions and more walking. I can do this with all that and not following a particular diet!

Can I join too please? I need to drop a dress size and get into my pre-menopausal clothes. If I could lose five kilos in a month I’d be happy.

My plan is to eat more green vegetables with protein, eliminate snacking and alcohol and exercise more frequently. I started last week but blew it

Please can I join you! I have about 3 stone to lose, I keep starting and failing miserably. A month sounds like a good initial target.
My diet makes me feel so poorly, I eat so much cake and chocolate
I never know what to wear each day, it's so depressing. It consumes me everyday.

I'm going away in 4 weeks and need to make a difference, hopefully a stone if I can but that might be out of reach.

Morning everyone. Weighed myself this morning and weigh 11stones. I have been stuck at this weight for a while now so hopefully this will help me get below that.
Will start by drinking more water and cutting down the carbs/only eating carbs at lunch.
Painted my toenails yesterday. Then used some lovely oil to moisturise.

I weighed this morning and am 12st 6lb.
I plan to just drink water today, as much as possible.
Make better food choices and hit over 10k steps.

Starting weight 11st 7lbs

Aims for the day:
Buy a fitbit
Do nails/ pedicure
30 min workout
Put at least mascara, blusher, lipstick on.
Stick to slimming world and minimise carbs and sugar

Bit late to the party but I'm in! I have a lot to lose, but I'm gonna start with a stone by my holiday in September. Eat less chocolate/ crisps and move more!

I'm joining!! I had lost a stone but half has crept back on, I need to lose that half to feel good about myself and lose my peri menopausal look. Will weigh when I can shift my bum out of bed!

Today's plan of action is to get a new gas cylinder for my soda stream so that I can drink fizzy water instead of cider this evening, when I feel hot and bothered and in need of refreshment 🙂

I’d like to lose a stone by August so I’d definitely like to join in. My worry is whenever I join a weight loss thread I seem to end up putting on weight. I have to try though.

Just weighed and have put more on than I thought. I'm 9 stone 113/4. I know it's not overly heavy but I really need to be 9 stone!
