One month body blitz starting tomorrow

Anyone care to join me?

I'm starting tomorrow, giving myself a month, to try and sort myself out. One month doesn't sound too daunting!

I have at least two stone to lose, which will obviously take time, I'm not expecting a miracle in one month.

Also, the fatter I get the more I have let myself go so I intend to start using all the beauty products currently gathering dust, and take more care of my appearance.

I know that with a bit of effort, I can make positive visible changes. I really don't like what I see in the mirror right now.

I will post my starting weight in the morning and will make Monday my weekly weigh day.

Morning folks - weighed in this morning at 69.1kg, hoping to lose as much as possible in a month whilst being sensible about it.

Today’s goals are:
Home workout session
Hit 10,000 steps/take the baby a walk
No snacking
Use my time in the evening more wisely instead of mindless scrolling!

I will join pls. Have lost 1.5 stone over last few months which has made me feel loads better but I want to lose another half stone before holidays in august. I've started to lose focus a bit so need some motivation to keep me on track.

Exercise and sensible eating has worked for me. Lots of veg and salad. Minimal carbs. Little fat and no snacking. But as I say the cracks have started to appear and I've had a couple of weekends of excess.

Starting weight: 14 stone 3

I have some big events coming up at the end of July so I really want to push hard to lose as much as possible. So lots of intermittent fasting with long fasts and short eating windows.

Today's plan:
Fasting (until 12 noon tomorrow)
Joe Wick's workout from the app
10,000 steps

So inspired that I am not the only one with crap eating habits. Going through stressful times has made me comfort eat so much. And I too can get so down when nothing looks good. Vicious circle.
Never had to diet before really so any suggestions are good. What is fasting stuff about ? Anyone recommend any plan in particular?

Can I join in as well? I keep losing and gaining the same half a stone all the time, it's so demotivating. I have an event in 5 weeks time and would like to lose 10lbs by then which should be doable?

Action plan for today, 5K walk and high protein, low ish carbs and no snacking!

Plan is fasting and low carb. Not sure I can fit 10k steps today but will do as much as I can. Some weights later too.
Oh and lots of water.

It's an 'oh dear' for me too!

Heaviest since I had my babies!

10st 5.7

Plan

Fast until midday
Drink lots of water (my downfall!!)
Walk 10K steps - take lunch walk
Fit in an exercise session tonight (YouTube Kettlebell)
Don't eat after 8pm
Let's smash it today

Question - should the 10k steps you take wandering around your every day life count? Or just those in an actual proper walk?

Good morning all and welcome to the new joiners.

I was worried that I would wake up this morning and you had all vanished.

Anyway, my starting weight is exactly 11stone.

Todays plan is to not stuff my face and put some make up on. Oh, and I will be shaving my legs and body moisturising.

My Fitbit is ready to go, I just need to put it on.

Good luck today, by this time next week we will all weigh a little less, potentially with painted nails and swishy hair.

not sure how best to go about it, as am a single parent who works, so not much time for walking. I guess I could squeeze a youtube video in this evening...
Absolutely no booze.
Fast until 12pm, no eating after 6pm.
Really need to stick to it this time - I have a huge pocket of fat on my stomach, like a damn rubber ring!

Good morning everyone.

My starting weight is 12st 5. Id love if a month from now I could be in the 10st bracket.

Is the month running until the 20th or in 4 weeks?

My plan

  • Stick to the New You Plan diet (except Friday I can't get out of)
  • YouTube workout 5x a week
  • 10,000+ steps a day. I usually get 12k - 15k on work days but on weekends this drops quite low.
  • No alcohol (again, except this Friday Blush)

Have just done the first day of couch to 5k earlier and will be doing a Body Combat workout after work. Aiming to do some intermittent fasting as well (16:8).

I'm also on FitBit if anyone wants to link up for motivation 😁

@ButteryNuts weigh day is on a Monday starting today so four weeks will take us to Monday 18th July.

I'm pretty sure I will need a few months though. I'm just interested in what a difference I can make in one month of proper trying.

In my head I'm about 11st which is too big for me, but just got weighed and I'm 76.6kg, which is pretty much 12st
Big issues - wine and laziness. Don't eat too badly but need to get off my backside more.

I’m 70.5 kilos which is 11stone 1 1/2 lbs. I’d like to be 9 1/2 so a way to go. I’m in Oz, so about to have lamb chops and green beans for dinner.

I’ll do 20 mins HIIT in the morning and make celery soup for lunches this week :)

14 stone 11 this AM

Just had 2 poached eggs , 4 asparagus spears and 2 rashers of bacon

Away to work now and won't be able to eat till about 1400 , don't have a clue what I'm going to have - not prepared at all 😫

My beauty bonus is that I did a mini mani last night and used some nice body moisturiser after shower this AM

Have filled my 800ml bottle with sugar free squash to fill aim to finish that by lunch and then refill

Can I join? Starting weight: 65.4kg. I'm very very short, I'm in the overweight BMI category :( comfy weight is more like 55kg but 4kg off in a month would make a huge difference
