Hi everyone. New thread as promised. A little later than planned but I'm blaming celebrating too much last night.
I wish I could say it was a good start but I'm feeding my hangover today so looks like I'm going to start tomorrow.
Is everyone feeling motivated?

I've had a bacon and tomato sandwich and a suasage sandwich for lunch today

I will make more of an effort tomorrow. I have a bit of a hnagover today, so I can't surely be expected to eat the right foods today can I?

Also first weigh in of the new year tomorrow, so I will be interested to know how much I have out on. (Not as much as last year when I managed to put on 9lbs in a week - which was pretty much all booze )

I was full of good intentions today. My family came for lunch and I made SW beef cobbler, which went down a treat. Trouble was, my mum brought with her a scrummy home-made quiche and I had forgotten what pastry tastes like. So guess what I just had for my supper! (yummee face)
Back at work tomorrow, that should make things easier, being back in my routine again...
I don't know about Sheik yer booty, it's more woobly yer booty in my case

Hmmm .... I really need to get back on track - got the dreaded post-christmas weigh in on Wednesday? Had just got to 2 1/2 stones before - they'll be taking me stickers back!! But we had yummy choc desseert last night the rest of which is sat in fridge talking to me so won't be being good today .... maybe start agin tomorrow!!!

Demolished a box of maltesers today - well now they have gone! Couldnt eat all my tea though - so just ate the veg!

Back to work on Thursday after my 'break' - being 11 months Maternity Leave!! Not sure what I feel about it - but at least I will be able to have my lunch on my own with two hands!!!!

Can I come back now it's the New Year & I have my splurge over me??

I am back on track first thing tomorrow morning as dh is back at work!

I have 2 resolutions this year & they should be easier to stick to than the usual list I make up!

  1. To eat more healthily (see the way I didn't say lose weight though I am hoping they go hand in hand!)

  2. Stay on top of the housework & not let it slide the way I had before!

Last but not least I want to say a huge well done to all of you who managed to stick to the plan right up to Christmas, you did a far better job than me! And I wish all you lovely ladies a very happy & healthy 2008

I am ready to start SW again, from tomorrow anyway. Its going to take some getting used to after stuffing my face for 2 weeks
At least I can say I didn't deprieve myself of any treats over Christmas and New Year, but there are no excuses or reasons for me not to get back to it.

I should be going shopping tomorrow so will write up my list now and get some healthy food in.

Think I shall start off with a green day tomorrow. We have packets and packets of batchelors rice and pasta n sauce in the cupboards. Gonna have to stock up on the muller lights though. Had to throw about six of the things away the other day as they went out of date over christmas.

Snap Sparkler, I threw away 4 mullerlights today that had just gone out of date. Shall stock up on some more tomorrow. I haven't started my shopping list yet, I have just been playing my DCs DS, so addictive. I shall be just as addicted to the Nintendo Wii and getting some exercise, just as soon as I track one down

Hi . Another sporadic poster on this thread from many moons ago - wondering if I could join again please? Have always got on pretty well with SW, though do struggle with my sweet tooth! (My syns have always been 4 rich tea biscuits a night - hence inevitable slide into dullsville food wise!).
I'm not 'on paper' overweight', though reaching the end of my acceptable weight for height. Want to lose a stone as the love handles are seriously hanging, and my motivation (as if I need any more) is to shape up for ttc number 4 in the Spring . Hoping to share the highs and lows, and to make some new friends .

Lol, you've reminded me I need to change it back to plain old 'Diege'. I know it's early in the day, but anyone know if homemade chicken stock is especially synful, or shall I just have one less rich tea tonight to 'compensate'? (I'm always on green days, as I don't eat red meat, just chicken and fish fromn time to time - I'm a big quorn fan!).

Hi Whimsy! Well I'm sat here with my bowl of 250ml ss milk and 2 weetabix. It's a bit hard getting it down. Last week or so my breakfast has consisted of coffee and me hugging the biscuit barrel

well today I thought I started well
Up early and over an hours worth of dog walking in - only to find the pedometer had not recorded anything - its battery was dead
so another walk this time down town and back for a battery

all my food for today is planned - now all I have to do is stick the the plan

Have had melon for breakfast & at the minute I have on some rice cooking for lunch.

We've been invited to my brother's house for dinner tonight, his wife is also on the SW plan but she often uses all her syns for oil & lard that she cooks with... am hoping that she doesn't use that tonight...or I will just have to have fewer roasties!!

I am scared to weigh myself to see what I have gained over Christmas...but will do it now & report back! I am hoping to lose some of it before I go bck to sw later in January!

2nd November was the last time I was at sw & I was 10stone 3lb.

Today, 2 months on, I am 10stone 10lb! So I have gained 7lb

I am ashamed to say that most of that is alcohol & after eights

I could cry....
