So, once again I've started again, drawn lines in the sand, made plans, batched cooked etc (you all know the score!).

I will be slim this year!

Slightly scared of the scales so not willing to weigh until Monday but come and join us to get slender!

All diets and weighing frequencies welcome!

I'm doing fast 800 (well, more like fast 1000) and running two or three times a week.

Today was a good day. Came to bed early to avoid snacking.

Hi

How’s everyone ?

RedLipsAndRosyCheeks · 23/06/2020 22:17

@AutumnNymph I have spent the last couple of months yo-yoing up and down.

I firmly blame lockdown!

I'm back on plan now. And determined to stay on it for the rest of the week.

What about you?

Hellooo! I've name changed but I was on the old threads. I need this so much.

I gained nearly a stone last year due to HRT issues. Was just starting to lose it when lockdown struck and i pretty much stopped exercising.

Weighed in yesterday at 12 stone 2. I have a stone to lose to get back to where I was in March 19, when I was battling to get into the 10s.

I have never weighed this much while not pregnant.

First step is to curb the snacking at work.

leesmum · 24/06/2020 08:33

Hiya Red, I'm joining you Smile I've had a really good month so far but the scales seem to have stopped moving so I need to strop things up another gear.
Hope everyone is well x

Hoolahoophop · 24/06/2020 08:48

Hello All, thanks red.

I ran my first full 5k in under 30 min today. Grin but the scales are still going up. Need to curb the snacking and foodie treats.

Loved fast 800 when I did it red. Trouble is dh thinks it's unhealthy so I'd not supportive. So makes it harder to do when he's around all the time and can see what I'm eating.

I'm go in NH to try limiting carbs to one meal a day only and sensible portions. More salad and less 🍷 Shock

AutumnNymph · 24/06/2020 09:09

Hey everyone! I have been okay - similar to everyone yo-yoing since March - I had gained a stone since Christmas and was at my heaviest. I gave myself a talking to and fixed my diet beginning of June and have lost 1/2 a stone already and now have the other half to lose.

I am doing IF and have cut down on carbs and snacking. I have been really inactive and clothing it and really need to up my activity/exercise levels but simply can't find the motivation to.

QuimReaper · 24/06/2020 11:38

SLENDERISTAS ASSEMBLE! So good to see you all back here!

By my first weigh-in of June, I'd managed to get back to my post-Christmas weight Shock I've got 700g down from that now and need another kilo or two to feel good, and about half a stone before I'm back to my kick-ass fighting weight (where I haven't been since November Blush )

Does anyone else feel like they should lose more weight when it's this damn hot? The gold medal restraint involved in not just sitting in the garden drinking white wine and eating Soleros feels like it should be extra rewarding, especially as any movement is SUCH hard work, but I always seem to look doubly bloated and flabby when it's baking hot.

RedLipsAndRosyCheeks · 24/06/2020 13:41

@QuimReaper I feel like a beach ball today! A mixture of pre menstrual bloat and the heat is not good.

WE CAN DO THIS!

Hey ladies. Good to see you back. Will check in. Have been more mindful this week. Will weigh in on Friday. X

RedLipsAndRosyCheeks · 24/06/2020 16:24

I did have a small piece of cake at lunch.

Which is not very fast 800 friendly. But I have done 22k steps so far today and it's salmon and leek crustless quiche with salad for tea.

Might fast tomorrow (just skip lunch basically as I don't eat breakfast).

Great to see so many of you here. We can do this! And yes quim it does seem harder in this weather. I was very proud that I resisted the ice creams today.

A relatively good day today. I avoided all snacking at work. There was a bit of an incident with some yoghurt coated skittles this evening but I resisted most of them. That counts doesn't it? Confused

No exercise today though. I'll try again tomorrow.

TheBechdelTest · 24/06/2020 23:09

And when I say exercise I mean swimming! So much better than running or walking in this weather Grin

RedLipsAndRosyCheeks · 25/06/2020 06:12

That looks gorgeous Bechdel!

I went to bed early again last night to avoid temptation.

OP posts:
QuimReaper · 25/06/2020 12:56

Ooooh Bechdel I am so jealous!

I am obscenely pleased with myself for having got some steps in early today: I had a stupid phone meeting at 10:30 which if I'd left the house after that would have meant walking in the midday sun, which nearly killed me yesterday. I now plan to mostly hide in the air conditioning until I am forced outside again at 6pm when it should be a bit more bearable...

Am cautiously optimistic for tomorrow's weigh-in (how many times have you heard me say that?!) - I think I can see a bit of a difference after 2wks of concerted effort Smile

TheBechdelTest · 25/06/2020 21:04

Only just getting around to posting but I had a promising weigh in this morning. Down to 11 12 already Grin

I have had a mostly very good week and this might be a blip but I'll take it!

Well done on getting out early quim. It's definitely the most pleasant part of the day.

Softpebbles · 25/06/2020 21:33

Fingers crossed @TheBechdelTest.

RedLipsAndRosyCheeks · 26/06/2020 08:34

How is everyone this morning?
Thankfully it's cooler here today.

I've had 4 long, hot walks over the last two days and my poor feet are suffering today!

Slight wobble last nights but not bad. I am v hormonal at the moment so I'm blaming that.

Yet another park trip today with the kids (eldest is in reception so is back at school but only 4 days, youngest is 3) but my parents are coming too so that'll be nice!

Thinking slim thoughts full of self control for everyone today (god knows I need it!)

OP posts:
KickBishopBrennanUpTheArse · 26/06/2020 08:43

Thanks red. Well done on the walking. Not easy in this heat.

A solid 11 13 0 this morning so up a bit on yesterday but close enough. That's 3lb lower than Monday. Now to keep it off for the weekend. No plans so I'll absorb those slim thoughts.

RedLipsAndRosyCheeks · 26/06/2020 09:47

3lb is brilliant Kick!

I've not got anything fancy planned for the weekend so I'm aiming for two good days.

OP posts:
Hoolahoophop · 26/06/2020 09:55

Red my kids are the same age as yours. It makes exercise sooooo slow. My 5 year old is not back at school yet though as we are kind if shelilding so have them both. My daily exercise is cosmic kids yoga!

AutumnNymph · 27/06/2020 09:42

3 lb is brilliant Kick. I weighed in at 124 pounds this morning which is 1 lb down from last week. I am very close to my ideal goal weight of 120 pounds so I know it will be a slow ride and am glad it’s going the right direction,

Yesterday was a cheat day as DH went to Costco and came back with loads of treats as he felt I needed a break, I stepped on the scales expecting to have gained so am quite pleased to see I am slightly down on yesterday.

I have nothing planned for this weekend either as similar to Red I am kind of shielding so hoping to continue the good run.

Softpebbles · 27/06/2020 10:26

I was 1lb down on Monday yesterday. Not thrilled but in the right direction. I always gain weight mid month in my cycle and think I’ve hit that point!

lastqueenofscotland · 28/06/2020 10:04

I’ve missed this thread! So good to see everyone. I’m at a three year low at the moment which I am delighted about, and half a pound away from being back in the 9st bracket.
Lockdown has been good for my motivation!

RedLipsAndRosyCheeks · 28/06/2020 11:02

Good work last! I'm doing so so this weekend. PMT is making me very grouchy!
