Hello everyone! Gosh, I'm not surprised we have a ranty bench, it's all getting SO boring now, isn't it - I'm glad I'm not alone in feeling the absence of normal life more keenly just now, I think the summer has made it all feel worse.
@Elloello not having a neutral relaxing space in your home is completely unacceptable and everyone should do their own hobbies in their own rooms without a doubt - TVs in rooms may not be ideal, but your current setup is worse. How old are they? I bet they'd love their X Boxes etc. in their room, and the reality is that rules like "no TVs in bedrooms" aren't made for a situation where everyone's in the house all the time, most households are set up for most people to be doing their own thing most of the time, and making changes to the space survive the new use of it is fine.
In fact, if you're worried about them using the TVs all night I'd be so confident that they'd absolutely leap at the idea that I'd sit them down and say you're considering letting them have TVs upstairs, BUT ONLY under certain conditions etc., and make them agree to the rules in advance. I think you'll come out on top for sure.
Red and paws you sound like men with a plen
A stone by October should definitely doable, and then you can make another sizeable dent before the December madness starts up.
Anyway, budge up on the ranty bench. I'm in a really pissy mood today. I'm hungry and hot and grouchy, and just want everything to go back to normal. I'm smashing it on the step front and have been almost perfect on the food front, but I'm a rage-eater and I've had a lot of tantrums this week
I'm hoping to see some progress on the scales tomorrow, I've been walking my legs off so although it isn't showing, hopefully it's doing some good!
