So, once again I've started again, drawn lines in the sand, made plans, batched cooked etc (you all know the score!).

I will be slim this year!

Slightly scared of the scales so not willing to weigh until Monday but come and join us to get slender!

All diets and weighing frequencies welcome!

Forgot to post yesterday!

Sunday was good both good and exercise wise.

Today was very good food wise but awful steps wise.

Work will be awful tomorrow so I'm planning fancy burgers and chips for tea to cheer myself up.

Saw a friend on Friday who said I looked thinner. Not sure I do but I'll take the complement!

So, massive burger and chips for tea but the burgers were from the butchers and were absolutely delicious! Then two pieces of flapjack.

But, work was very tough today and I did go for a run so I deserved it!

How are you doing paws?

Sorry Red I feel I am really letting you down at the moment. I am in absolute agony with my back, it was bad a few days ago but it’s got very much worse. Because I’m so down and in so much pain and hardly sleeping I just keep eating.

I’m going out tomorrow to try and take my mind off the pain. Only popping to IKEA but will probably have a McDonald’s on the way back.

You seem to be doing very, very well and well done on the compliment, I’m sure it’s very true and well earned.

I know tomorrow will be a let down but I’m going to try very hard to get back on track. You are putting me to shame at the moment but I hope to be back on track next week. Well done you and carry on, you are doing brilliantly.🎖👏

@poorpaws life is so hard at the moment you just need to focus on yourself.

I'm sorry to hear that your back is still bad, it sounds awful.

Don't worry about letting me down - I'm just some random on the internet!

Work is still difficult and probably will not recover to precovid levels for another year if ever.

I think I'm going to go for maintenance for the rest of the year. Any weight loss will be a bonus. I'm currently the weight I was in January so at least I've got rid of the lockdown gain but 2020 has been tough enough without weight loss too!

Be kind to yourself, the weight can be shifted in 2021 and it won't matter at all.

Thanks

Red what a brilliant idea to just maintain for this year. I never thought of that and that gives me hope. I know I’m not going to have any great losses so to maintain would still be very very good.

It’s so sad about your work and I hope things get better soon, it’s such a difficult time.

I’ve had a most lovely day today but I’m paying for it now with horrendous backpain. It’s hard to know what to do because I don’t really want to go to the doctors (they can’t do anything for this anyway) and the chiropractor has to get way too close for my comfort since I’m quite high risk for Covid. At the moment I’m just trying to control the pain and use a deep heat treatment on my back. I’d hoped it would be better now but it’s actually got worse, it’s a bugger!

So we’ll keep posting and just try to maintain? What a good idea. By the way I don’t see you as some random on the Internet, you’ve given me a lot of support and I’m very grateful.
