I’m also going to try cut the bread down. It’s just so easy to turn to bread. I’ve been skipping snacks too and I think i’m so hungry when meal time comes around I just grab whatever’s quick (and delicious).

Does anyone set themselves a treat time? Daily or weekly to have something to look forward to?

Bread is so good but so bad. I didn't have any yesterday and finished on 1057 calories for the day. Counted everything down to the last pickled onion and every cup of tea.

I don't have a specific treat time but I do eat lots of those 10cal jelly pots and I have bought some fibre one bars which are delicious. I don't want to be constipated through lack of bread Grin

9st5 this morning! So pleased to finally be making progress. Thank you for the advice about not sticking rigidly to 1200 calories, it seems to be working!! Feeling much more motivated now I am starting to see the scales change.

Hi again, I am down a total of 4lbs since Jan 1st weighing 9st 3 today! I probably could have lost more if dry January hadn't ended on the 19th! Just got a step counter (cheaper version of Fitbit) so I'm going to start tracking steps every day as well as daily yoga, low carbing and calorie counting. My target weight is 8st 12.

Riding my bike to work today, it's only 3 miles so not a huge workout but it's something.

Flippin heck.

Back up to 10stone and remained there for last week despite pretty much sticking to my low carb diet. Shape seems to have changed though. Less bloated and I feel a bit slimmer less fat.

Tad fed up it's not showing on the scales though. Can only assume initial loss was water from carb bloat and am really just the same fattage as before 😟

Don't beat yourself up grufeling, I am beginning to think the scales are not our friends! I can definitely see a difference in my body now, albeit minor. I'm going to concentrate on more on what I can see than the numbers as they can be quite disheartening.

My weigh in day is Tuesday and I didn’t lose . Not surprised as had a night off sat with takeaway and wine . Weighed myself this morning and 2 lbs off so hoping that stays off . Will have lost 7lbs in 5 weeks which isn’t bad .

I am planning on juice fasting this weekend.

8.9 for me again too. My own fault. Sick babies and sleep regression make me eat more for the energy I so desperately need. And I’ve stopped writing down the calories, thinking I could just judge it. I’ll start writing again now. Sad

Okay so I couldn't help but weight myself this morning after I showered and I have lost (almost) 8 pounds since January 1st. Grin

Considering I didn't stick to the diet half of the time I think that's quite good!!

It's given me motivation to focus more on calorie counting, and I'm still going to attempt a juice fast this weekend.

I will weigh in again Monday and see what is happening

We'll done on the weight loss folks! After losing 2 pounds last week I put half back on this week. I stuck to the same amount of calories but a lot of that was cake Blush for various reasons. So it's a good lesson to me that it's what I eat, not just how much, that matters. My tummy and face are both really bloated, very motivating to have a good week next week!
