What did you eat today weight loss thread

Partially inspired by last years epic “what did you eat today” thread, anyone up for restarting one specifically in this section as a way of holding ourselves to account? No matter what your method of weight loss is....

I’m WI tomorrow for the first time in a month and know it won’t be pretty, going to ease myself in with 16:8 for a week and then adjust to either 1200kcal a day or back to 2 fast days a week. Anticipate having about 10lbs to lose.

Today was terrible but I did a transatlantic flight across several time zones so eating was buggered - I’ll start properly tomorrow!

B: Banana and tea
Chicken caesar salad and tea
Apple and tea
Two slices wholemeal toast and a small tin beans
Muller yoghurt and tax

Way too much

B - 2 coffees and a bagel with butter
L - vegi ham, cheese and tomato sandwich, a few pretzels, a mini chocolate bar and a clementine
S - 2 vegi scotch eggs and a piece of toast
D - Quorn gammon steak with pineapple, chips and lots of green vegetables, sponge cake
S - another piece of toast with cheese and a cup of tea.

Plus about 3 more cups of tea and a diet coke throughout the day. I think this is quite a lot, but a typical day.

Copious black coffee, an almond milk latte.

Went out for lunch with a friend and shared a kale salad with heart of palm “calamari” as starters then had vegan grilled cheese sandwich with tomato bisque. Followed by match almond milk latte

Snacked on a lot of crunchy peas, ate an orange, taste tested DC dinner but too full to eat my own so going to leave it there for today and actually pay attention to my body for a change.

Yesterday:

B: porridge and mango

L: sushi

D: beans & potato waffles

Bit of a last minute stopgap dinner, but not horrendous. Can't say I'll be wanting a potato waffle again any time soon...

Afternoon everyone 😃

Today:
Special k with full fat milk.
Was tired so 4 black coffees
Roast chicken and spicy tomato sandwich, few crisps

The plan for dinner tonight is Green Thai curry, with a lot of steamed veggies and 2 tablespoons of rice.

Afternoon all. Starving today so need to focus!

Have had, so far:

B - satsuma and half an apple
L - Homemade butternut squash soup, lentil salad
D - will be lentils, veg, cauliflower rice and a baked sweet potato

Might have some more soup later too :-)

Breakfast: 50 cal yoghurt and 4 coffee with red milk
Lunch: grilled chicken salad
Dinner: onion, pepper, mushroom frittata, sweet potato and salad
Snacks: fruit

Am using MFP properly for the first time ever and it actually really works! Am back down to my pre Christmas weight of 9.10. Still want to lose another half a stone

Noodles, bean sprouts, sweetcorn, spring onion and some Chinese curry sauce. Plus about 4-5 litres of water.
I'm back to swimming tomorrow I usually do a mile five days a week. My children only went back to school today, it's been very odd just me and the cats!

Grapes
Yogurt
Apple
Blueberries
Weetabix with 100ml semi skimmed milk

Dinner:
2 seeded toast
3 scrambled eggs
Smoked salmon

Breakfast - raisin wheats
Lunch - chicken wrap with salad and some French fries (crisps)
Dinner - small portion of pasta and some Bolognese made with chopped tomatoes and veg. Yoghurt for pudding.
Snacks - 3 corn cakes and some grapes.

Coffee
Half an English muffin, peanut butter
Bowl yog and apple compote

Large coffee on train to work

Hard boiled egg
Raisins, probably half a cup
Four crackers with peanut butter
An apple

Chicken, sweet potato and lentil curry with cous cous

Lots of water as usual

Dinner will be chicken parmagiana with salad or soup

Mustn't drink wine, mustn't drink wine, mustn't drink wine....

I currently do zero exercise but have signed up a biweekly yoga class so we'll see how we get on 🍉

I love a good food diary thread when I'm being good

Today:

Overnight oats with banana berries & honey.
A pear
Whole meal chicken sandwich, lunchbox portion of cheese
Slice of malt loaf
Vegetable risotto
2 chocolate topped rice cakes for pudding 👌

no weight off at all yet but I'm at least keeping off alcohol and curbing midnight snackage - will do 5:2 next week as my body readjusts to not eating constantly like I did over Christmas.

L: spaghetti squash, soyrizo, carrots and yellow pepper
S: peanut butter stuffed pretzels
D: a bowl of mushrooms, cannelini beans, various veggies and grilled tofu

Two eggs, scrambled. Weak coffee.

Wrap with humous, avocado, cucumber, spring onion and a little grated cheese. Multipack pack of C&O crisps. Water.

8 celebration chocolates.
5 cheesy oatcakes.
Another packet of crisps Hmm. Weak coffee.

Spag Bol made with quorn mince and wholewheat spaghetti. Water.

B-coffee (no time!)
L-chicken bacon and asparagus salad
D- zesty chicken with stirfry veg and naked noodles.

I need this for motivation. Not on a diet as such, just healthy eating habits 3 meals a day with no snacks to try and shift the Xmas pounds that have crept on !

Breakfast - 2 slices of whole meal toast with scrapings of butter, banana

Lunch - bowl of vegetable soup (home made)

Dinner will be pork medallions with sweet potato mash and green beans.

No snacks and lots of walking ! Have already done a 40 minute walk and the round trip to school is another 45 minutes and uphill all the way home.

Afternoon all Smile hope your all having a good day food wise

Today
Porridge with a few berries
Beans on wholemeal toast. 2 mini caramel biscuits
Bag of skinny popcorn
Dinner tonight is going to be chicken stir fry with lots of chilli and veg, and a few noodles.
I like something sweet after dinner, so I’ve made some smoothie ice lollies

Weigh in day tomorrow so I will see if I’ve lost this week.....

Today I've had:

B: 2 slices whole meal toast with low fat spread, a pear
S: satsuma
L: pastrami and l/f cream cheese sandwich (w/m bread)
S: slice malt loaf (no butter)
D: homemade cheese & onion quiche with sweet potato chips and peas

Will have a cup of tea and a chocolate rice cake when the children are both in bed.

Drinking loads of water and cups of tea.

I'll join in 😁

Breakfast sausage roll (planned for treat breakfast!)
Lunch lentil curry
Snack apple, small bag of popcorn and a couple of DDs Pom bear crisps Xmas Blush
Dinner 3 ryvita with mackerel pate and sliced cucumber
Drinks - black coffee, green tea and tons of water
Exercise - fartlek interval running for 25 mins

Came in on target of less than 1400 for today and tomorrow is a fast day so no brekkie, soup for lunch then chicken stir fry for dinner.

B - high protein fat free yogurt, almonds and oats with ss milk 2x tea with ss milk

L - 4 water biscuits with olives, 2x dairy lea triangles, carrots & latte one sugar

D - 5% fat beef mince chilli with 100g brown basmati, green beans and mixed salad

S - can full sugar Coke which I allow in my daily calories as I'm addicted to sugar so weaning myself off
A hot cross bun

Did 1 hour body sculpting class this morning so bun and Coke was a treat, still came in at 1500 calories Smile

Overnight oats for breakfast (measured and made with skimmed milk, cocoa powder, chia seeds and banana)

Three cups of tea

Small pasta salad with tuna and a yoghurt for lunch

An Apple tart mid-afternoon

Toad in the hole with broccoli and carrots for dinner, and some natural yoghurt about an hour later. Still feeling hungry but determined not to eat any more - drinking water instead!
