What did you eat today weight loss thread

Partially inspired by last years epic “what did you eat today” thread, anyone up for restarting one specifically in this section as a way of holding ourselves to account? No matter what your method of weight loss is....

I’m WI tomorrow for the first time in a month and know it won’t be pretty, going to ease myself in with 16:8 for a week and then adjust to either 1200kcal a day or back to 2 fast days a week. Anticipate having about 10lbs to lose.

Today was terrible but I did a transatlantic flight across several time zones so eating was buggered - I’ll start properly tomorrow!

Think my body has got used to eating less because I had another day of not eating much and I'm ok.

B: None as we ran out of food. Delivery came at 11.
L: Chicken soup and toast
D: Half a jacket potato, spoonful of low fat soft cheese. Salad
Snacks: coffees, carrots, cucumbers.

Under 1000 calories but I'll probably have an apple or banana later if I'm hungry. My waist is 34 inches which is about 6 inches less than my maximum but in order to fit into my favourite jeans it needs to be 30 inches. I don't feel ready to weigh myself - perhaps when I've managed a week or ten days of healthy eating and I know it won't be a setback.

PorklessPie · 15/01/2018 19:22

Breakfast 2 weetabix with soya milk (tesco value is my favourite).
Then I did 90 lengths of the pool (very pleased with myself).
Dinner after the pool couscous with pepper, mushroom, onion, tomato and small amount of soya mince cooked in garlic, liquid smoke and paprika with a whole bag of spinach.

Eminybob · 15/01/2018 19:25

Today I had:

B:Aldi benefit cereal bar
L:Tomato and basil soup

Both those together came in at only 150 calories so I was ravenous by the time I got home. Thought I had shrunk my stomach as I’ve been getting by on a lot less than previously but clearly not by that much!

T: pork loin steak with cous cous salad

Also had a tiny pack of haribo and loads of cups of tea, but according to MFP I’m still less than 1000 calories.

I’m enjoying this actually and looking forward to weighing myself next.

I’ve given up drinking too as I consumed far too many calories in wine. I’m just doing dry January for now but if the weight loss is significant by the end of the month I may keep it going.

Hello :-)) I'd like to join in with posting my food each day. My goal is to reduce saturated fat enough to never have gallstone symptoms again - very painful - and to lose weight at the same time. Starting tomorrow with posting food, as today was just an embarrassment :-((

Can I join too...fellow gallstone sufferer (waves to Tidy2018).

I am a massive heifer and have about 7st to get me to normal BMI. I am trying to eat sensibly and not gorge on chocolate (Which unfortunately for me never seems to affect my gallstones!).

So today I've eaten

Scrambled egg and baked beans (basically a serving spoon of each...work canteen!)
Apple
Banana
Naked bar
Plate of (home made) chicken biryani.

Now to resist the urge to pick. I go to bed late (as I pick my DS up from the station at 11.30), 10pm onwards is my danger time...
