What did you eat today weight loss thread

Partially inspired by last years epic “what did you eat today” thread, anyone up for restarting one specifically in this section as a way of holding ourselves to account? No matter what your method of weight loss is....

I’m WI tomorrow for the first time in a month and know it won’t be pretty, going to ease myself in with 16:8 for a week and then adjust to either 1200kcal a day or back to 2 fast days a week. Anticipate having about 10lbs to lose.

Today was terrible but I did a transatlantic flight across several time zones so eating was buggered - I’ll start properly tomorrow!

I'm losing weight calorie counting, and using MFP to track what I eat, my calorie allowance is 1200 a day (I'm just over 5ft tall) but I try and stick to 1000 although I will use some of the extra 200 occasionally. I also don't eat carbs such as bread potatoes pasta or rice after lunch, plus I don't eat at all after 6pm.

Today I've eaten the following:

Breakfast- 35g oats made up with water, half a banana, 1tsp of choc pot (14 calories)

Lunch- weight watchers tomato soup, 1 warburtons wholemeal sandwich thin.

I try and plan everything I'll eat the day before to help keep me on track.

Dinner- chicken breast, rocket, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, 1 tbs sweet chilli sauce and 1 TVs sour cream, sugar free jelly.

Snacks - 4 Jaffa cakes.

PorklessPie · 06/01/2018 20:21

As delicious as the sweetcorn soup was I think it gave me an upset stomach Blush. I've never had it before and I never get an upset stomach so I can only put it down to that.

Skrowten · 06/01/2018 20:57

Breakfast: boiled egg
Lunch: avo and one sliced tomato on lo cal Brown bread
Dinner: home made chicken Korma with spinach and one tablespoon of Brown rice.
Snacks: homemade popcorn (about 3 cups); coffee (semi milk and half tsp sugar); celery sticks, an orange, a few walnuts, cup of roobios chai tea, another coffee

I was on set all day and exhausted so it went horribly pear shaped after lunch (which was a vegan breakfast bowl) and I ate a mandarin, massive handful or two of pretzels, bag of salted crisps, slice of bread and jam, some buffal cauliflower, handful of peanuts and TEN Oreo cookies

Lots of coffee

Then a Red Bull and Lara bar on the long drive home

Kept to my 8 hours though

pasta bake for supper with lots of grated cheese and mayo.

Love these threads!
Yesterday
Lunch - two eggs, grilled bacon, two pieces of small toast
Dinner - homemade flatbreads with chicken slouvaki and wedges with Greek salad
Today
Same breakfast as yesterday
Dinner will be sweet chilli sausage and sweet potato tray bake which I can’t wait for!
I spent most of yesterday prepping enough soup for the rest of the month with my new morphy Richards soup maker, 15 soups made in just over an hour!

PorklessPie · 07/01/2018 12:25

Does the soup maker blend also? I use my vitamix to blend my soups after cooking them at the moment.

PorklessPie · 07/01/2018 12:27

Today is vegan cream of broccoli soup with oatcakes then a glass of oatly milk for bed. Drinking about 5 litres of water with frozen lemon/lime in.

frankiehat · 07/01/2018 12:44

Weighed myself this morning about 6 times completely naked before accepting the weight of 10 stone!!

That's half a stone gain since last January and ideally I would like to be just above 9 stone.

Breakfast: apple and 4x coffee with skimmed milk
Lunch: porridge sachet with skimmed milk and Coke Zero
Dinner: roast chicken with sweet potato and salad

Am planning a short run as well.

Now just have to keep myself away from the kids leftovers...

Forgot to say @Kiki, that I usually make lots of soups, but they've not featured much since I joined this thread. My favourites are spiced carrot with red lentil, minestrone, watercress and spinach and parsnip with apple. I'd love to add some new options to my repertoire.

L Chicken breast, huge salad, wholemeal roll
Nectarine and Banana with Natural yoghurt

D Chicken breast and venison sausage on BBQ, salad, couscous.

Half Bottle of Merlot

About 12 large glasses water - really hot here at the moment.
