Partially inspired by last years epic “what did you eat today” thread, anyone up for restarting one specifically in this section as a way of holding ourselves to account? No matter what your method of weight loss is....

I’m WI tomorrow for the first time in a month and know it won’t be pretty, going to ease myself in with 16:8 for a week and then adjust to either 1200kcal a day or back to 2 fast days a week. Anticipate having about 10lbs to lose.

Today was terrible but I did a transatlantic flight across several time zones so eating was buggered - I’ll start properly tomorrow!

Porridge
Veg soup, bread roll & a banana
Dinner tonight is going to be spicy chicken Mexican rice
Will have a Mini ice lolly in the evening

T: will be veggie sausages, roast potatoes, veg, yorkshire puddings and gravy with ice cream and a brownie for after

Hello!! Today -
Hummus and pepper and cucumber (small portion)
Sausages, bacon, egg, crispy potatoes beans and mushrooms
Planning on chilli con carne but using chicken instead of mince with avocado and bit of cheese and maybe a couple of taco shells and couple of tablespoons or brown rice x

Hi! Today....
Breakfast - nothing
Lunch - portobello mushrooms stuffed with goats cheese and pesto, rocket and sourdough
Dinner - cottage pie made with turkey mince and sweet potato top, veg and yorkshires
Snacks - berry and banana smoothie with almond milk and cinnamon, might have oatcakes and a cuppa later

Argh I’m solo parenting and am doing really well until about 9pm when I hit binge mode - must stay away from wine because it’s my downfall!

Yesterday:

B: poached egg on wholemeal toast
L; tomato soup with a dollop of sour cream
D: masala crusted chicken with cumin crusted vegetables (in potatoes), a chocolate mouse and a non-alcoholic beer

No snacks. 987 calories.

Fallen off the weight loss wagon a bit lately. Had lost 7 pounds now gained 2 back. Felt faint in supermarket plus dull headache (never usually get them) Calorie restriction is difficult to sustain. Starting Dec 27th was on up to 1200 5 days a week , up to 500 for 2. Then last week up to 1400 (but felt better) Well over that on one day. Maintenance for me is 1200 to 1400,
Lost about half a pound a week a few years ago on 1200 plus 45 mins daily exercise.
Having an free induction day at a gym on Friday to check whether bursitis in hip is OK. Can walk for about 30 mins before it hurts. Difficult if you need to get home again! Average cost of just gym here is £35 a month. One with classes with words like intense, pump, burn. So no. Another classes extra.
One with right classes (stretch and tone/ yoga/ circuit training) but no price on line for membership. Went in to check on price of classes £5.50. Membership was £34.99 but includes use of pool and all classes ( over 3 local centers) including aqua aerobics. Plus 5 gym sessions with a personal trainer ( probably to check and tweak regime.)
Would feel safer exercising in a public space as have had these light headed phases since Feb last year. Also have felt quite isolated.
If it works I can also eat 1200; pretty comfortable!

Bad bad day today!!!
Coffee and walnut muffin for breakfast which led into huge sugar crash! Had my leftover chilli with some avocado and cheese and taco shells and rice then 1 1/2 bags (big bags!!) of sweets then sugar crashed again and have ate biscuits, nuts, chocolate fingers and small bowl of chilli!!!! Starving so will have some chorizo Brie and tuc biscuits and maybe a few more biscuits and feel sorry for myself before bed!!

Tomorrow is a new day!!!

Some of dd's cheesecake in a cafe
Ham salad pitta
3 mini eggs - so proud I managed to stop at 3, I love mini eggs!
Chicken burger (Joe wicks recipe), skinny fries, salad
Maybe a glass of wine later. Or might stick to tea.

Not brilliant but not totally terrible.

Hello hello!

Mind if I join? My jeans are suddenly very very tight... Shock so I am frantically cutting back!

B - small greek yogurt with a splodge of apricot jam
L - mish mash of leftovers : chicken, eggplant and tomato curry, mashed sweet potato, peas, 2 hunks of cheese
S - cup of green tea
D - Homemade butternut soup, hunk of cheese, apple

I also went for a run jog ! Onwards and upwards!

Snacks whilst watching the football: chocolate fingers, crisps and grapes

Back on it today, the plan is

T: mushroom strogonoff with veg

Lunch - pea and mint purée with tinned mackerel on sourdough
Dinner - chilli and lime chicken with guacamole and coconut rice
Snack - oatcakes with reduced sugar jam

Ooh overitalready I also over did it on the garlic in my soup! Feel like I'm sweating it out my pores now!

B - a pint of fresh squeezed orange juice, 14 olives, 2 boiled egged, several hunks of cheese...
L - homemade butternut soup
D - stir fry noodle and mixed veg with oyster sauce, apple

For exercise, I walked up the big hill where I live!

Snack: sunbites lightly salted popcorn

Dinner: fish cakes and Be Good To Yourself Caesar salad with added spinach, tomato and Be Good To Yourself croutons.

Snack: 3 segments of chocolate orange, 2 tuc crackers, 1 thin slice cheddar cheese
