It’s that time of year again when mince pies attack and the baileys is calling.

Trying to stay on the wagon is easier when you ihave the Slenderistas on your side

Swit swoo Splat! Congratulations!

1 more day then firmly on all of the wagons for me! I have enjoyed the indulgence but am ready to get healthy again.

Thank you guys ☺️...I really had an amazing day and felt really good in the dress...all the encouragement on here has been nothing short of wonderful, so thank you!!

I am going to relax now and eat bread and cheese and all the wonderful things I have been avoiding for the next few days...and then it is back on the wagon!! I am definitely up for a January thread!!!

It will go quick BOOP, don't worry. You are so focused when you go for it.

Maybe something wagon-related? Kick-starting the wagon, jump on to start the journey (Janu-journey?) to a new you?

TheDonald · 31/12/2017 12:32

Splat that is a beautiful dress. You look amazing! Congratulations Flowers

Looking forward to the January thread.

11 3 today so already 5 down on Thursday. So happy it's proving the quick on quick off type!

ProseccoMamam · 31/12/2017 13:22

Can anyone help me with my new year resolution? I'm cutting out 1 'bad' food each month I'm currently in June but my brain isn't working? I've so far got fizzy pop, crisps, chocolate, sweets and take away food (except chicken and salad in pita). I don't drink alcohol unless it's a special occasions and I don't really drink coffee excessively so I'm struggling to find other foods to cut out. Any suggestions? I'm going to google too!

BeyondAssignation · 31/12/2017 13:46

Prossecco, how about shop bought baked goods (cakes biscuits and bread). Not completely banning them, but with the idea that anything you want you need to make yourself? Depends if you could resist scarfing the entire 12 cakes you made in one go Grin

BOOP - no idea for a title, but for a tag line how about the thread where we acknowledge that leftover food is no less "wasted" if we eat it for the sake of it!! (Totally aimed at myself there)

TheCatOfAthenry · 31/12/2017 14:00

Still losing weight. 34 pounds + down, about 42 to go for July.

I'm on call until 9 am tomorrow so no wine for me tonight. Actually suits me fine!

BitOutOfPractice · 31/12/2017 14:38

Prosecco how about biscuits? Ready meals? Erm...

Who's got a good title for the January thread?

ProseccoMamam · 31/12/2017 17:54

Thanks for the help! I've ended up doing processed meat, baked goods (cookies cake donuts etc), anything deep fried, ice cream, oil except olive oil, white bread/pasta products and my December one is cordial/flavoured water. I am aiming by the end of this year (2018) to drink nothing but water and fresh fruit juices and only have 'bad' foods on special occasions. So I can't just sit home eating crap but if there is a birthday or something I can indulge in whatever is there! I'm definitely an emotional eater which is why I'm doing a bad food each month so it isn't as sudden. I have a lot of faith in myself that I'll be able to do it this wayGrin

twinkledag · 31/12/2017 19:32

Prosecco can I join you in your giving something up? What's January's? X

ProseccoMamam · 31/12/2017 21:15

@twinkledag of course. My January is fizzy pop (I am terrible with it honestlyBlush). You can change it to something else if it suits you more though Smile

poorpaws · 31/12/2017 22:46

Oh wow splat that dress is amazing. Many congratulations again.

So I’ve braved the scales at last and I’ve gained 10lbs in December 😡 bloody hell thats a lot! It will probably take me 3 months to lose it. Last night of eating and I’ll be jumping on the wagon early tomorrow morning. I’ll need a lot of help in 2018.

twinkledag · 01/01/2018 01:24

I'm in for no fizzy drinks @ProseccoMamam. I've started to drink way too much Diet Coke.

I know it’s an awful title but I’m feeling rather weak and feeble —hungover— this morning
