Just wanted to say hi as I've been on a few of these lovely supportive threads during 2016-17 and have lost 8kg, some of which I've regained
But have been very half hearted about it since the summer and really need to get tough with myself in the New Year.
I gave myself a week off for Christmas and seem to have gained 2kg
though am hoping it's the type that will fall off quickly when I get back on the wagon. Chocolate and leftovers are my downfall - don't even want to think about how many calories there are in home made Christmas pudding with brandy butter and cream! I don't even drink much (a few sips of wine if DH or others are having a glass, due to meds.
I read on another thread about a poster who wanted to lose weight but it took every last bit of her mental and physical energy to do it - that really struck a chord with me. It's just so hard!
Anyway hi to anyone who remembers me and good luck for 2018!
Will be back on the wagon on 1 January - last supper tomorrow of roast rib of beef to look forward to first! (Actually I make excellent roast potatoes with very little oil and don't eat Yorkshire puds as I'm gluten free, so a roast is an ok meal for me really!)
In fact my meals are generally good, no snacking and more water needs to be my mantra!
Am doing 1500 calories with MFP (I have a LOT to lose so should lose a pound a week on that).
