It’s that time of year again when mince pies attack and the baileys is calling.

Trying to stay on the wagon is easier when you ihave the Slenderistas on your side

So today’s menu went something like this -

Half a bowl of porridge and blackberries for breakfast

Lunch was a 300-calorie red Thai noodle pot from EAT.

I had 2 mini mince pies at a meeting and then some crisps and dips - we usually have drinks and nibbles on a Friday. I had a Diet Coke instead of booze.

MFP tells me, before I had the crisps and dips I had 600 cals left which should cover it?

lastqueenofscotland · 01/12/2017 19:31

Today was pretty good all things considered

TheDonald · 01/12/2017 20:46

I feel like I'm gradually sliding into bad habits again. I have started picking at the rubbish we always have at work. Today it was another mince pie and a handful of Haribo.

Not a huge problem calorie wise but they just made me hungrier and then I ended up having another snack when I got in.

I'm at a family party tomorrow and then a friend has invited me round for Christmas drinks on Sunday. It's only the 1st but I can tell this is going to be a tough month!

I might add a couple of gym sessions in over the next few weeks.

KikisReindeerDeliveries · 01/12/2017 21:01

I am avoiding evening snacking tonight but am drinking wine instead so not particularly impressive. And I sacked off a training session to do so...

Hoping to make up for it with a gym session tomorrow morning.

poorpaws · 01/12/2017 23:06

Great new thread BOOP thank you.

Pawspup not in so much pain today and took her for a long on lead walk. Thank you everyone who asked about her.

Eaten sooo much chocolate in the last couple of days but will definitely try to eat less as feeling more positive today. Bit early but I put the Christmas tree up to cheer myself up.I'm not crazy about Christmas but I like the tree lights.

Have a great December everyone.

poorpaws · 01/12/2017 23:11

Quim your doggy story made me so sad. I hope Quimdog is ok, conjunctivitis is so painful, bless him/her.

Therealjudgejudy · 01/12/2017 23:18

Hi everyone. BOOP thanks for the new thread.

I started the week well with a good gym session and on target cal count, but then i came down with a vomiting bug. I weighed in at exactly 9 stone this morning but thats because of existed on just water the past few days. Defoe not the way I wanted to loose the Linda's but I kinda feel human again now. I'll attempt try toast tomorrow and start back at the gym Monday.

Well done all of you with the positive posts and happy 1st December slender sistas!Grin

twobambinos · 01/12/2017 23:28

Can I join.hoping to get into the 9s this month. Weighed 10st 2 this morning. 10st would give me a bmi of 25 so I would be delighted to get back under that. Last Christmas I was 9st 8 and I thought I was big then. What I would give to be that again. Everything went pear shaped around Feb march and I was up to about 10st 10ish after the summer holidays so I'm glad to be closer to 10st again. Best of luck everyone. Weekend on the run ahead so I hope I will be able to make healthy choices.

ferrier · 01/12/2017 23:28

Just popping my head in here as seems a good place to try and keep on track through the month of partying.
Started the year at 12st6 and have lost around 2 and a half stone. Hovering just under the 10st mark and would be happy to make it through to January at the same weight but ideally, realistically in early 2018, would like to get to my final target of 9st7.

readyforsunshine · 02/12/2017 07:56

Thanks boop, hello everybody & welcome to the newbies!
I’m. loving this wintery weather & getting so excited about Christmas this year. No more loss by the end of the month so it was a total of 9lb to bring me down to 10.3. Will I make 10 stone by Dec 22nd though? Fingers xed.
Glad to hear your dog’s recovering paws Smile
What’s everyone got planned for the w/e? Nothing exciting here, I was hoping to get to Bath Christmas market but I think all my free time has been squeezed out by boring stuff.

lastqueenofscotland · 02/12/2017 08:12

Hi all newbies

lastqueenofscotland · 02/12/2017 08:12

chocolatespiders · 02/12/2017 08:15

Oh my goodness the food in my office is insane. I have been a complete pig this week. Feel so disappointed in myself.

Just checking in to this shiny new wagon. Not planning to fall off it during the Christmas season.

lastqueenofscotland · 02/12/2017 10:32

Kicked off the weekend with a parkrun. At a friends birthday thing so need to not go overboard

BitOutOfPractice · 02/12/2017 14:28

Hello and welcome to the newbies.

I'd just like to say that I've run 7km this morning. That's furthest I've run in years and years. I'm knackered now and need a lie down Confused

Has anyone measured?

Screw weight, my hips are down to just under 39 inches from 42.

Waist in down to 28.5 from 32.

TheDonald · 02/12/2017 19:07

I've eaten so much today and I can't even remember it all to log it in mfp.

Family get together and I stood at the oven for 2 hours cooking Iceland party food, while picking off a couple of items from the tray for the chef!

I dread to think how much it would have been if I'd seen it all on one plate.

We haven't even had dinner yet!

twinkledag · 02/12/2017 22:07

Today food - egg and halloumi bagel, skinny latte, Nando’s chicken pitta with size salad, small portion of homemade curry and pilau rice.

splatattack · 03/12/2017 08:58

My start to today...

Get my bum out of bed! Have a rice cake with peanut butter for energy, cycle to the swimming pool, do 60 lengths, cycle back home and get showed and ready to hop on the bus to London...

Please hold me accountable for this as it is cold outside and laziness is threatening to ruin my healthy good plans 😳

ponygirlcurtis · 03/12/2017 14:15

Well done lasty - just seen you on the wine fear thread. Grin

splatattack · 03/12/2017 14:47

Nicki that is loads to lose from your hips, well done!! I always go by weight but my friend always does measurements, says it is a better indicator...

Boop 7km?! Amazing, I just couldn't!!! I hope you are allowing yourself a little treat today...?

I managed my swim and am on my way to London...friends are talking about going for fondue which is making me nervous!! How can I resist or choose healthy options when I am surrounded by breaded, melted cheese and mulled wine!! Must. Be. Strong. 😂
