Hi , being or having a thread like this that I update and feel part off really motivates me to stick to the plan . Please join in.
I have been dieting since April 10 th , I am 5 ft 1and have went from 10 stone 1 to last week 8 stone 13.
However I've had a shitty diet few days and I'm due my period so today was up to 9 stone 4 .
This is when I'm really bad at saying feck it !
However , my aim is by July 3rd to be 8 stone 7lb and go away my holiday to no doubt put some back on :)
I calorie count on MFP , I still eat crisps etc but try to keep them to low cal ones.
I am trying to increase my water and trying to get on my exercise bike but not doing brilliantly with that.
I weigh every day .
Hopefully other folk will want to join otherwise I'll just update to myself :)

Battery now in scales and I was 10st 3lbs 2ozs, Grin so three pounds down from Monday - I am delighted. I wish it all came off so quickly. Have a good day everyone. I am in NZ, in case you think I am a very early riser!

Xoticdreamz · 15/06/2017 07:22

Hi Two , I think at 5/3 about 7lb is a dress size ish . For me anyway I think . My weight is all about my bum and things mostly.
That's brilliant Five ! Never been to New Zealand, would like to though.

I ended up doing 30 mins on the bike , weight the same at 9 stone 1 .
I'm so pre mentrual and feel bloated so am surprised I haven't put on .
Back at work today , can't drink as much water as I'm out and about and after 3 kids the urge and frequency to pee needs immediate loo access :)
Hope you all have a great day.

Did you create this thread just for me Xotic Grin - I have exactly 21 days! Came back to update on other thread, and had a nose on this one as it was at the top.

Been very lax, and stayed the same, but am down to 10st 6 this morning.

Hello everyone else. I'm 5ft 3, started at 12 st Blush on 16th April, have found the most effective way for me is following 16/8, no alcohol, very few carbs.

I'm ready for the final push.

peabizzle · 15/06/2017 08:58

2lb down this morning!!! Ready to take on the day. Working late today so no gym but will do a work out when I get home. Protein shake for breakfast and some fruit. Probably chicken salad for lunch. Have a great day! Smile

FiveShelties · 15/06/2017 10:22

Xotic - I have big thighs, which sadly do not seem to reduce much as I lose weight. I look dreadful in skinny jeans, assuming I can even get them on that is! Well done on staying the same.
123 - congratulations on your weight loss, you have done really well, in such a short time.
pea - 2 pounds gone, no wonder you are ready to seize the day.

RufflingFeathers · 15/06/2017 11:47

I'm up a quarter of a lb today -the downside of weighing everyday ! inspired by you all to cut down on calories again today - I think my 'no-snacking between meals' rule is good for maintaining weight, but not drastic enough to lose the half a stone I need to.

I lost motivation briefly yesterday (why are some days so much harder than others ??????). Am going to the beach in three weeks and really want to be slightly less wobbly. My bottom is always going to be mahoosive, but a little extra off my waist makes all the difference. Well done to you all on the losses !

twobambinos · 15/06/2017 15:03

So far so good today managed a 5km run and will do some pilates later. Keep up the good work everyone.
Lots of temptation around this week but I'll be as good as I can.
4days in a row of exercise so I'm thrilled to bits with that too.

twobambinos · 15/06/2017 15:04

7lbs for a dress size that would do me nicely. I'm a 12 now and it's snug so 10 would be fab before the holidays or even a loose 12.

RufflingFeathers · 15/06/2017 19:47

Urrrrggh, just accidentally eaten McD's for dinner - not sure how it happened other than my son won star pupil today and our tradition is that he then chooses dinner (only happens once a year). Whoooooops - oh this weight will never come off !!

peabizzle · 15/06/2017 20:32

Don't worry about it just see tomorrow as a new day! I had a little slip aswell today, everybody at work was on a big junk food binge, I calmed it down a little bit by opting for salt and vinegar snack a jacks and a chomp bar (they are about 109cals) I don't like to feel left out haha

Xoticdreamz · 15/06/2017 22:38

Hello again 123 .. you have done amazingly, here's to the last half a stone .

Well done to your son Ruffles. As Pea says treat tomorrow as a new day , I always slip back by thinking I'm mucked it all up now and then eat shit for days when it prob would not have made any difference if it's just one day . I've def had quite a few treat meals since April but this time really tried to be good the next day .
You are exercise queen Two!

Today I've been working so not enough water , 10,750 steps and under 1000 cals though . Aunt Flo visiting so I don't expect a loss tomorrow really .
I'm so addicted to these packets of chickpeas from Holland and Barrett, could eat them all day !

Hi all can I join? I'm at my heaviest at 10.10, would like to go down to about 9 stone (haven't managed to get back down to that in the last 10 or so years)
I have a 10 month old who doesn't nap too well and has decided she doesn't like sleeping in her pram anymore so feel a bit stuck in the house... have been binging on cakes and bread for the whole duration of my mat leave so far!
I can't use my old distraction techniques of coffee and cigarettes as I don't want to slip back into old habits.
I'd love to lose some weight before the summer's over, I'm sick of being embarrassed to expose my chub arms!

YoumeandlittleP · 16/06/2017 07:24

So I've managed to gain a lb since Monday! I have been so good and exercised every day. So disheartening. Can I ask if most of you are calorie counting/cutting out carbs. What works best for you? I've been doing Slimming world but might have to up my game!

FlightyMare · 16/06/2017 09:22

Hello, this thread looks like just what I need! I go away on holiday in just over 7 weeks and really don't want to take my belly with me! Need to lose half a stone ideally. Have been attempting MFP but I think maybe I need to be a bit stricter...

Just skimmed through the thread as I'm dashing out, but will have a full read through when I get back. x

RufflingFeathers · 16/06/2017 20:16

Hey newbies - welcome :)

Well done Xotic on keeping it under 1000 cals a day - that's really impressive. I've had a better day than yesterday, but purposefully chose to come on the thread at this point in the evening to inspire me to hold off on any Friday night snacks !!
It's so depressing isn't it - how easy it is to put the weight on, and how tricky it is to come off......

Xoticdreamz · 16/06/2017 20:54

Hey everyone and welcome newcomers.
Youandme .. if I exercise enough that it hurts I temporarily gain , is it the muscle healing ? Can't remember but keep going !

Thanks Ruffling , keep away from the snacks and think of th every way your clothes fit and posing in the mirror when you feel good :)
No weight loss this morning but I'm bloated to hell so knew that . So far walked 12,346 steps and am just on way homecoming from work . Under 1000 but will have a couple of gin and slims .
Have a lunch out tomorrow so hopefully will keep in contro and have salad and gin rather than the burger and chips and rose that I really want .
I've bought loads of new holiday clothes and want to feel good in them .
Hope everyone has a great weekend.

My spelling and grammar! That's what long shifts do.

OP posts:
Xoticdreamz · 17/06/2017 10:18

Weighed in at 9 stone today so that's last weekends binge and period bloat coming off . Now to get into the 8's fingers crossed .
I have a lunch out today and I really do not want to bugger up all the hard work since Monday .
Happy weekend ladies.

OP posts:
RufflingFeathers · 17/06/2017 13:19

I'm down today as well - 11st 2.5, so that's 1.5lb off this week which isn't bad as there has been plenty of high cal choices.
Am a bit PMT-y today and yesterday and have noticed how much that affects what I want to eat - I find it worse the week before my period rather than my actual period week - urgggh.

Well done Xotic, you keep on inspiring me with your high step count and low calories !!

Xoticdreamz · 17/06/2017 23:22

That's amazing ruffling , I am so affected by pmt and hormones as well , I hate it . I've been totally on the wine ( and smoking shhh)
I had pate and salad so hopefully has not screwed stuff up that badly .
Enjoyed though.

OP posts:
peabizzle · 18/06/2017 20:26

I've well and truly messed it all up this weekend 🙈 I've been doing well during the days but having a bit of a binge in the evenings and I've just totally lost the focus!

Xoticdreamz · 19/06/2017 07:07

The evenings are such a bugger Pea . Fir me it's when the wine comes out .
This weekend I did have wine in sat but food wise not bad. Yesterday was fine and I think I walked about 14 ,000 steps . Really need to try and tone up my thighs and bum though . I have not been in the bike and no where near a gym class .
Pleased with my weigh in this morning
8 stone 13

OP posts:
RufflingFeathers · 19/06/2017 09:11

Yeah, it's evenings for me too - am starting this week up a lb from Sat (now 11 st 3.5 again) - but hoping some of that isn't proper weight, if that makes sense.
I think my mistake has been not to factor in any treats at all, so over the weekend have had bit of a 'stuff this' attitude and have wolfed down all my normal sweet treats - eeeek

Anyway - another day, worth keeping going - thanks Xotic for your good example to us :)

Xoticdreamz · 19/06/2017 10:40

Ha ha , you wouldn't have said that if you saw me on sat night , drunken lush secretly smoking in the garden :)
