Spring is Sprung and the Easter bunny is on his way. Let's dodge the chocolate temptations and power our way to 7lbs off this month
Here's a link to the March thread

Can I join....I need this to be the month...the cycle of starting, slightly messing up and then having a crazy binge has to stop!!!!!!?
lastqueenofscotland · 31/03/2017 18:31
Checking in!
Twiglet15 · 31/03/2017 18:48
Can I join? I've been lurking since January and thought this has to be the month I join! You've all been very motivating as so far!
Had DS in September, allowed myself to eat cake and biscuits to get through the first few months of sleepless nights and decided new year was the time!
I've been using MFP, walking with the buggy as much as possible and this morning I finished C25k.
Time to be honest and share my stats
SW: 1.1.17 16st 9lbs (I'm 5'11" but still...)
Jan: -7lbs
Feb: -9lbs
March: -8lbs
CW: 14st 13lbs
GW: healthy BMI which would make me 12st 11lbs.
Thanks for all of your motivation so far lovely folk!
FreeNiki · 31/03/2017 21:41
I have lost barely 2lbs in March.
Need to do better.
May50 · 31/03/2017 21:48
Hi. I'm starting tomorrow 1st April - aim to lose 2 stone. Started 1st jan but didn't stick to diet. Trying to do a no sugar, low carb diet.
May50 · 31/03/2017 21:49
2 stone loss in total. Not in April! I'll go for 7lbs target for April.
Naughtysausage · 31/03/2017 22:01
Checking in. Hello lovely new people!
Twiglet15 · 31/03/2017 22:59
2lbs is still great Niki, especially as from what I remember you've not got much to lose!
BitOutOfPractice · 31/03/2017 23:10
Hello hello! I've been out for crap dinner and too many drinks with my lovely friend. Should've been three of us but one was poorly. I'm in the last train out of the City and I reckon I'm the most sober one here
I feel like I'm never going to get home
readyforsunshine · 01/04/2017 06:55
Hello all, lots of new starters to help the enthusiasm
I 'posted' on old thread but it got lost, Thursday did not end well, bowl of pasta & red wine. It was medicinal, I need a new soak away & have an underperforming Ds doing GCSEs.
Yesterday was slightly better, 2 boiled eggs 2 toast, snacks 1 boiled egg, biscuit, dinner was 1/2 poussin w toms & green beans, glass white wine. Oh & a teeny slice of bday cake, maybe not much better after all!
lastqueenofscotland · 01/04/2017 07:09
Good morning! Starting April at 10st,.. which considering I started March at 9'10 isn't great!!!
BitOutOfPractice · 01/04/2017 07:23
Morning. I'm starting April on 11st 5.5lbs. That's a whole half pound down on the month. Whoop de do! The mid-month holiday and subsequent 7lb gain really stymied me.
My target is to be10 stone something by the time I go away on 28th. It'll be the first time in 15 years if I do.
HairsprayBabe · 01/04/2017 07:25
Morning all Happy April! As my DP says "White Rabbits! White Rabbits! Happy month to you!" Can someone please tell me if this is normal or not, because I am inclined to believe not 😂
Anyway! I have news, Quim you were correct! Are you some sort of weight loss socerer?! Starting April in the 10s! 10.13 but oh well! That brings my total loss for March to 8lbs, that is a 6.6% loss for March and a 28.3% loss over all since I started! BMI is now 24.6 when I started on 34.3 so that is a loss of almost 10 points!
Sorry for being boring I just love a good statistic!
Good luck to all the new starters and welcome to The Best Thread on Mumsnet! we are trying to get that trade marked
Finally thank you all for being so supportive with me on this "journey" it is a hard road and I am very glad I have you lot as company!

BitOutOfPractice · 01/04/2017 07:45
Oh wowsers hairspray that is absolutely awesome. What a feeling!
That's given me the poke I needed as you and I were the same weight in Feb and you've powered on through March and I've stalked. So thank you for that.
Hello to all the newbies though I see lots of you have already done really well and lost loads already. You're in the right place now. #BestThreadOnMumsnetTM
BitOutOfPractice · 01/04/2017 07:46
Stalled. Not stalked. Though that too.
BitOutOfPractice · 01/04/2017 07:47
Quim I skid meant to say, be gentle with yourself. There's no right or wrong way to feel or act at times like these. Just do what you need to do. Your dad sounds like a remarkable man
Softpebbles · 01/04/2017 08:14
Boop 11 5 here too. Just wish it wasn't the first on a weekend!!
Well done hairspray. You deserve it.
Niki don't be so hard on yourself.
Quim
TV how's the no sugar going?!
May50 · 01/04/2017 08:17
Weighed this morning. 11st 8lbs. At 5ft 1 that's not good so definitely 9st 8lbs is goal. I'm also 1lb heavier than 1st jan, so New Years Resolution failed ! I'm aiming for 7lbs a month so by 1st August I will have lost 2 stone (yeah well that's the plan). Eaten 1 grapefruit and 2 eggs for breakfast so that's ok to start.......
BitOutOfPractice · 01/04/2017 08:23
Softpebbles I'll race you!
Twiglet15 · 01/04/2017 08:37
Hairspray that's an amazing result. Absolute SlenderEaster inspiration!
Weighed in this morning for a proper April starting weight and am 14st 12lb. Wondering if it's an April fool on my scales' part (I'll still take it!)
Stellar67 · 01/04/2017 08:40
Morning! Love the thread title BOOP. Thank you.
Sorry I'm behind as usual.
Well done hairspray!
Welcome all the new slenderistas.
I'm doing great. Although wine consumption will be happening later.
Have a good weekend all.
Softpebbles · 01/04/2017 09:02
Ha ha Boop I am sure you'll win as I've been losing the weight battle for two years however game on partner. I'm 5'6 and booby! Nice to have someone around my weight though to compare with. So I suppose game on in a friendly team spirited way 😂
BitOutOfPractice · 01/04/2017 09:24
Softpebbles you're on! <shoves SP out of the way in haste to get ahead>
I'm 5'7" and just on the cusp of healthy bmi. I'm determined to get focused. Except I'm out tonight. And tomorrow. And away on business at a gorgeous hotel on Monday to Wednesday. So you may give me the slip till then
