Sorry chaps, my thinking cap is busted. Best title I could manage tonight!

Loads of comfy chairs in here, bowls of fruit, and lots of superfree veggies to snack on Wink

So, settle in, have a natter, and let's show the lard who's boss!

Lovely title.
Glad you've got the bowls of fruit and lots of veg, I'll bring the soup Smile

FriendofDorothy · 25/01/2012 23:06

Bonsoir. Just marking my place do I don't get lost in the morning. Off to bed now. Night night all x

Cheeseandbiscuits · 25/01/2012 23:09

Found you.

This is the thread where I will get to 10 stone something.

Right I'm off to bed. I am exhausted.

Good to have slinky and bee back!

TheScarlettPimpernel · 25/01/2012 23:39

Whew! home and only 35 cals over my limit - and more than 100 under if I eat my exercise cals which I shan't so there.

Erm. Slightly muddy-headed owing to the booze and the Strindberg (which was awful) but 'll catch up properly tomorrow. Hurrah for brilliant losses though, what a great week. And huzzah for new fred. My laptop was starting to despise the old one as it was so full Hmm

Cheeseandbiscuits · 26/01/2012 07:13

Well done TSP I'm impressed. Hope you had a good night out!

I'm so pissed off with DH. He's off today and that automatically entitled him to a lie in Angry.

Got to go to Manchester today to sort out the work thing I forgot to to do. Urgh.
B: porridge
L: something low fat from marks. Prob their salmon salad
D: salmon with roasted veg and tatties

Riapwhatyousow · 26/01/2012 07:41

found you.
WI done and not too drastic. Not sure but think it's STS as I've re-set my Wii profile.

just waiting for an email from my mum with the most recent photo of me on it, then I will add it to the FB group (I remember typing these words last night, but must not have hi "post"Confused).

TheScarlettPimpernel · 26/01/2012 08:47

Morning all! Cheese go and clatter pots and pans in the kitchen which I have never done before AT ALL

Ria thumbs-up on the good weigh in! What does STS mean tho please?

Now then I am absolutely overcome with a craving for apple crumble. Calorie counting being what it is, apple crumble can be mine as lone as I am very strict the rest of the day - so I am going to have, for dinner, preceding the apply crumbly goodness, a bowl of stir-fried green veg (a big up to our good friend FryLight) with a spot of feta on top

Food today thus:

B - Black coffee, Belvita
L - veg sushi, fruit 'fingers' Hmm
D - stir fried veg, APPLE CRUMBLE JOY

Hope y'all have a good day

Cheeseandbiscuits · 26/01/2012 08:53

Oh how yummy tsp. Delicious! Enjoy itEnvy.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 26/01/2012 08:54

Oh and STS is stayed the same

Hedgepig · 26/01/2012 08:55

morning just book marking, another meeting to go to
Cheese this is also the thread where I will be 10st something

Food for today
B. the usual (melon, berries and yog)
L baked pot, beans and salad and fruit (not on the same pl;ate)
D trying the macaroni cheese from the mag (not hopeful it will taste nice but got to try these things)

Snacks - grapes, carrot, tomato, apple, Muller light

Real life weigh in tonight, I lost weigh for us yesterday but generally I have put some on by the next day (I have no idea why) , if I have put on weight I have to stay to group as a forfeit Shock

FriendofDorothy · 26/01/2012 09:01

I find the same Hedgepig - think Wednesday is possibly my lightest day of the week becasue I always seem to have put on a little by Thursday morning.

TheScarlettPimpernel · 26/01/2012 09:09

Good luck at the WI Hedge - am Grin at staying to group as a forfeit!! Is this imposed on you by the Leader or is it a self-inflicted punishment?!

I meant to say thanks to everyone for sharing musings on fatness and whatnot recently. I hope I don't sound prying (although I am famously a nosy bitch!) but I suppose I feel that for me at least, only 50% of this 'Project' (I can't bring myself to say 'journey') is about food and the rest is about my (our) head(s) and its (their) messy, dafty contents Grin

debka · 26/01/2012 09:27

Hi everyone,

WELL DONE all losers esp midori with an impressive 5lbs :)

I agree it's about what's 'up there' TSP. I have started running (embracing the New Me) and I can run so long as I don't think about what I'm doing. The minute I think bloody hell I'm running and it HURTS, I can't do it anymore. Your mind is a powerful thing

I made apple crumble for the fam last night, didn't eat it though.

10 stone eh? If I lost my arms and legs in a tragic accident I may also attain the magic ten Grin

Food today-
B- porridge (ran out of eggs Shock), a pear
L- veg soup
D- pasta a la pixie (I think) with leeks, philly and peas. Salad, muller light.
S- dark chocolate after my new yoga dvd mmmmmm

SlinkyB · 26/01/2012 09:39

Morning all!

TSP I can't post much when the thread goes over about 500 posts, as the tablet thingy can't cope, and I usually can't be arsed to get the laptop out.

I must try that pasta and philly recipe too, sounds great and dp would love it (apart from the peas, which he despises). I am also a soup virgin kid, must try it one day.

As you can tell, I've a day off today - whoop whoop! No work til next Tuesday, bliss. So, just having a quick cuppa before dashing to the hairdressers, then doing a mammoth food shop. Gawd love MIL for having ds for me today so I can get organised for his party tomorrow. I've already baked 24 cupcakes today ready to decorate tonight.

I've so far had a small bowl of muesli with some blueberries, and two cups of tea...no idea about the rest of the day but will try to be good.

Oh yeah, I was 10st-something on the last thread...for a whole week! Grin So will try and get back down there on this thread, it's only a couple of pounds, but by god they're hard bastards to shift! especially when you're shovelling your cake hole with home-baked sugary treats constantly.

Good luck in Manchester cheese - are you taking dd with you?

Cheeseandbiscuits · 26/01/2012 10:19

Good resisting the apple crumble debka, I'm so lame at that. We had cake left over from Nct gathering at my house yesterday. I gave it away to my neighbours! Grin at chopping legs and arms off.

Good luck at real life weigh ins hedge and dorothy. Hope you don't have to stay hedgeSmile

slinky enjoy your day off. When's the party. Impressed with cup cake making. I made sugar free banana and blueberry muffins for Isobel the other day. They were alright but tasted more like bread apparently. I am DD free, yay! My very annoying DH ha got her so I hope she play up.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 26/01/2012 10:21

Forgot to say, I'm on the train! I have very virtuously bought carrot sticks, salmon salad and pineapple from the food hall so no croissants for me!

TheScarlettPimpernel · 26/01/2012 10:51

Ooo well done on apple crumble resistance and croissant resistance respectively, Deb and Cheese. Truly, we are a virtuous bunch

Tomorrow is my Evening Off. It really really helps, you know, knowing I can lookg forward to just one meal of relaxing a bit. We are going to cook Chinese food (we live just up the road from an amazing Oriental supermarket) to see in the Year of the Dragon in style!

FriendofDorothy · 26/01/2012 10:55

Well according to toda's real life weigh-in I have lost 3lbs. I still think the scales are a bit wonky though - they originally told me I had put on 2lbs since last night which I know isn't true!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 26/01/2012 10:55

What are you going to cook? I've got a wicked wonton recipe somewhere. I agree about the night off - mine will be Saturday. I'm feeling a bit out of control about this weekend, as I have no idea what on the menu.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 26/01/2012 10:56

How bizarre dorothy. How was the meeting? Anything entertaining happen?

TheScarlettPimpernel · 26/01/2012 11:10

Hm, sounds like the scales there are well dodge, Dot. Bit worrying really Confused

Cheese a wonton recipe greatly appreciated ta! I am not sure what to cook yet. We might make some dim sum, and DH will almost certainly want to do belly pork - bit worrying on the calorie front but I guess that's Days Off for you. We just need to make sure we don't cook enough for an army like we usually do, bceause I can't be arsed with guests [misanthrope emoticon] and we can't be eating leftovers for days after!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 26/01/2012 12:18

Will dig out he recipe tonight. We normally do wontons, stir fry veg, pork in cabbage leaves and some sticky rice! Yum yum.

FriendofDorothy · 26/01/2012 13:12

Unfortunately I can't attend a meeting as there are no SW groups in Guernsey, so I just do my 'official' weigh-in at home on a Thursday - the same day as I used to go to group in the UK. I get a lot of suppor on FB from my old SW cronies you see :)

Cheeseandbiscuits · 26/01/2012 14:29

Oh how annoying for you. When / why did you move to Guernsey?

Just about to leave Manchester. I essentially came up here to sign a form Hmm.
