Sorry chaps, my thinking cap is busted. Best title I could manage tonight!

Loads of comfy chairs in here, bowls of fruit, and lots of superfree veggies to snack on Wink

So, settle in, have a natter, and let's show the lard who's boss!

Just seen your post huff, blimey! That is crappy in laws Grin. Well, mine hae finally vacated the building. I've been at work since 7am and they have done NOTHING round the house. They know my Dad is arriving from the states tomorrow; they used up all the milk and didn't nip out to get more or tell me there wasnt any. Anyway, done it for another month and we are having a celebratory take away.

TSP that sounds like a lovely foodie day. Are you joining us on the list?

grinningbee · 07/03/2012 20:03

Huff See, now that's funny Grin Gross, but funny. Still Shock though, and an image you can't scrub from your brain....

Cheese Glad they've gone, boo that they did nothing (gits) and you deserved the cake!

Back later - cooking tea.

By the way - new list created ready for when this one reaches the max. Linky later Smile

I'm just preparing lunch for tomorrow, its marinating for an hour so i think I'll and read while using powerplate (for the 4th time since it arrived yesterday afternoon)
I thought i could see a difference to my side/stomach earlier. On closer inspection, it was just my faint birth mark. It did look like a ever so slight muscle, from a distance anyway!

That image of the inlaws and the cushion is just too horrible to imagine. Why would you share that? Seriously!

I get on really well with my inlaws, not sure i'd like to live with them though or them to live with me!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 07/03/2012 22:12

well done on the list guysSmile

we had an unrestrained fry-up yesterday, just a small one (compared with the Larkin-esque feasts Pop DH and I have indulged in in past timesBlush) purely for stomach re-lining purposes you understandWink

shall I share an unfortunate image of BIL that can't be scrubbed from memory?Wink

Rianoceros · 07/03/2012 22:26

just logging new nickname Smile I wanted to be a hippo (was going to go for the elusive "run 1" on the way home from work today, but for reasons not worth recounting it didn't happen and I went to my mums for a cuppa instead we ran out of teabags) but it didnt fit with Ria.

how long since you have seen your Dad cheese? Is he staying with you? Enjoy.Smile

hope you enjoy your parents too pimpsSmile

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/03/2012 22:41

lol at new name ria!

Well done everyone. Smile

pixiestix · 08/03/2012 07:32

Well done everyone, especially list topper Ria! Smile Come on then, lets have this unfortunate image of BIL. Will it put us off our breakfasts and save us some calories??

DD has taken to waking up at 6am this week, which I know isnt that early but when you are used to a very civilised 8am start its bloody horrible.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 08/03/2012 07:53

I'm feeling so bloated after that Chinese last night, waste of cals really.
Just off to work, 1/2 day today. Not sure what food looks like as got to do some running around this afternoon - party prep!

Big sigh pixie dd was also up at 6am. Luckily I'd pre loaded her cot with toys so she played for 30min. How is your DS sleeping at the moment bee?

ria fab loss last week. Send those germs this wayGrin! Do tell us about your BiL!

pixiestix · 08/03/2012 08:32

How is work going now Cheese? Have they stopped messing you about and eating in to your non-work time?

Huffpot · 08/03/2012 08:45

Oh yes do tell about your BIL

well done on hitting target Hedge!

Rianoceros · 08/03/2012 09:36

morning allSmile

someone remind me why I'm doing this OU course!

BIL story when DH and I first married we borrowed a video camera from PIL to record something, a party or something I think - anyhow, looking though the tapes to find a blank one, we discovered BIL who had obviously rigged up the camera on top of his wardrobe (for reasons best known to himself) and was "testing it out" (by himself!) before the big event. I will never EVER forget the image of his nasty pervy smirk, or the sight of his very flexible friend in his hand!!!!!

He literally is a wanker, and that just proved it!

on that cheery note I have to gotad evaluate an argument about changes in identity

Rianoceros · 08/03/2012 09:37

sorry for dodgy keyboard...

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/03/2012 10:20

Grin Grin ria!

Hedgepig · 08/03/2012 11:05

omg Ria Shock

Rianoceros · 08/03/2012 11:20

I did warn you!Wink

pixiestix · 08/03/2012 11:55

Noooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Shock

Ahahahahahahaha! Grin Grin Grin

Did you tell him you had seen it?? Ooh, what a beautiful revenge for his shitty behaviour to your sister.

Hedgepig · 08/03/2012 13:15

pity you don't have a copy you could have put it in the inter-web Grin

Rianoceros · 08/03/2012 13:45

sadly pixie it's DH's bro, rather than my sis's H (but we're having much fun amongst ourselves mocking exBIL, so not a problem!).

Had never thought of you-tubing it! Hopefully it's not still there... (still have the camera but it's broken).

I have just had soya and linseed bread for lunch. Interesting. A very labour-intensive eat.

grinningbee · 08/03/2012 15:11

Hellooooo!

Ria That is awful... and pukeworthy. Funny though!

Cheese He is mostly sleeping ok now thank you. Waking a bit at the mo as he has a cough, but since he moved out of our room... well, what a difference! I do hope moving house doesn't change that.

Been to see Dr Google this morning. I was ony given one option regarding Freddy - he has to come out. I saw the measurements on the report, and it was 11cm x 10cm x 8.5cm, so pretty big. And I already have the consultant appointment! Seeing them on the 27th of this month. Talk about fast. Luckily he says they won't chop it out for a few months though, so that'll mean we're over the move first.

Went to look at carpets, but dd went into meltdown after running away from me one too many times in there and hiding behind the carpet rolls Hmm. This must be a new feature of being almost 3. Someone told me yesterday in Sainsbos when she did it again that seeing her do it made them feel better. So glad to be of service Grin.

Hi i am going to my first SW meeting tonight,i have done weight watchers before but i didnt work for me. i really hope this will work. i have a stone and a half to lose but have low metabolism. any tips or advice would be gladly apreciated. i have a very stroppy 8 month old so trying to do anything around him will be tough lol.

Age :21
starting weight 14.11
weight at moment: 12,6
goal weight is 11 stone.
height is 5 ft 6
shape : hourglass

thanks in advance xx

Natznjamesnbubs · 08/03/2012 15:41

hahahaa am actually 22 That was wishful thinking lol

Rianoceros · 08/03/2012 16:43

hi Natz, welcome to the threadSmile

kid · 08/03/2012 17:09

Welcome Natz and good luck with SW.
I tried WW once but didn't like it as you had to weigh the food to work out points and thats not really an option if you are out and about.
I find SW much easier to follow but the odd cake and biscuits tend to get in the way!

I've had a lovely lunch again today. I made meatballs and they were lovely. There is some left over in the fridge which I was planning to freeze but DS has decided that he wants them. Looks like I'll be making another batch in the near future.

I am so tired, I really wish I could just go to bed now. But, I've got gym in a couple of hours so I suppose sleeping now would mean I don't eat dinner and then end up feeling faint at gym. I know I'll feel better if I go, its just I'm having trouble convincing myself to go.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 08/03/2012 17:18

Waves to Natz! Welcome!
