So whether you have a little or a lot to lose, join me for a weekly weigh in - we could even have a slimmer of the week.

Just add your stats (don't be scared) - but I think it works if you're really honest.

hope this isn't a bad idea, I'm 8st 2 so have gained even more this week, but not very tall and have the sort of frame that really cannot carry extra weight. Need to be 7st or just below for healthy BMI. Very :( now as thought was just under 8st and wish it didn't matter so much.

I'm going to do a 3x a week exercise program when it arrives, if it ever arrives, and the meal plan that comes with it which I think is based on five small meals a day. I have a tendency to starve all day then slightly overdo it in the evening. I don't think it's my food choices so much as the amount iyswim?

Welcome to the Tuesday Weigh in Caterina. Sounds like you have a great plan ahead, good luck. I'm the same as you in that I eat pretty good choices, but too much (and too much wine) I suppose if you are small framed, then quantities will make quite a difference. I can also be brilliant all day then come in from work starving and it all goes out of the window. I need to make sure I've got some healthy stuff available ready to dig into.

Thank you, that looks much more organised. I would love to lose it in a month, most of it has arrived in the past month, wonder if that is realistic. Do you have a timescale in mind?

Oh yes, the wine. That needs to go :( but won't be easy!

Yes a month to 6 weeks sounds reasonable, I would prefer to be really strict and lose it quickly, rather than feeling like I'm on a diet all my life. This weight is just general creep over a year or so, I'm not mega worried about it, but just want to do something so it doesn't creep any further. I know what I'm like though, I'll lose the first part really quickly then never quite get to target. Have to do it for my 40th though ! (but that is in August so ages away)

I've done well at ww meetings in the past, but can't really fit them in at the mo and don't want to pay either, but would love to share successes as we go. xx

Starting properly tomorrow. My cal goal each day is set at 1300 (to lose 1.5lb a week)

Method: Cut down on junk and wine and just have smaller portions really I think. I tend to be very strict and then lose interest after a week or two so I don't want to do that again.

Great 3 new members !!

Make a note of all the naughty things you resist eating today. I'm just about to resist some lovely toast & go for half a grapefruit & a cup of tea. Working from home today so will catch up later.

Even from just doing one day I feel loads better this morning - but am not stepping back on scales until TUESDAY.

Doing well today.
Resisted the chocolate in the staff room at breaktime and lunchtime. Had crackers and philly and a lovely hot cup of ww chicken soup, followed by a fibre one bar for the choccy fix.
Resisted piling butter on my toast at tea just now. Did have a crunchie for pudding, but I still have 400 cals left to use and am off out to my Zumba class in an hour.

I resisted Thornton's toffee and a chunk of cheese both offered to me by thoughtful husband that doesn't get the "diet" thing. My dinner was maybe on too large side, but was boiled rice, with a few veggies, and chicken - really low fat. Work food is really hard though - I seem to only be able to do all or nothing, so well done 2kids & Faff for resisting the chocs.

May I join a day late.
I am 12st 1lb weighed today.
I would like to get down to 10st as that is my weight when I felt the healthiest.
Why? To look better, more energy and get rid of my baby tummy.
I had ds 3 years ago and dd 1 year ago and feel I really should try and get my body back as I feel like a sack of potatoes.
Today is my first day. I am doing low calorie and low sugar.
I have finished eating for the day and with drinks included have had just under 1000 calories.
I am feeling proud of myself and would like to join so I have people to talk to :)

I weighed myself yesterday, planning to do a weekly weigh in on my own, but I'm much more likely to stay motivated if I'm sharing the news with other people!

Wow 7 of us now ! Welcome to Floss & Tyson. The great thing about this thread is that it doesn't matter how you are doing it, it's the fact that sharing your weigh in with complete strangers is really motivating. I've avoided wine for second day now too - so that's good. Normally try & avoid midweek, but have got into bad habits while off at xmas.

I have eaten a bit too much today. I didn't have any fizzy drinks though. I would usually have at least 500ml a day.

I didn't eat any sweets either. I have lots leftover from Christmas and I would have some every day.

I have a very sweet tooth and have 2.5 spoons of sugar in tea and coffee Blush Blush so no sweet fizzy drinks and no sweets for a whole day is good for me.

Can I join in please?

I have just weighed myself and I am a stone heavier than I thought I would be in my head. I havew been ill and am on steroids, so my weight has fluctuated by two and a half stone in the last 4 months.

I want to get back to my fighting weight of just under 10 stone as I am going on holiday in July and want to look perfect.

Current weight - 12 stone 3
Target weight - 9 stone 12
Height - 6 foot
Why - I look terrible at this weight and after a horrible illness getting fit and healthy is my prime aim. I have given up booze (have to because of meds) and also smoking, and am starting walking and low impact weighty training.
Method: Alternate day method

Target Weight - 10 stone
Height - 5 foot 7 inches
Reason - to fit back into all the clothes in the back of my wardrobe and look like I did in the photos taken of me 3 years ago!
Method - stick to 1200 calories a day, log everything on MFP, eat less crap and attempt to move more!
Timeframe - how ever long it takes but would like to lose 1.5 to 2 lbs per week.
