2.5lbs off this week.

Am really chuffed with myself.

This means 11lbs off in 4 weeks and 23 lbs in total.

5 weeks to holiday and am sure I can do another half stone.

androbbob · 06/07/2011 23:00

Well done collision - great countdown to your hols - half a stone is acheiveable.

well done collision and kniter :)

NoWayNoHow · 07/07/2011 07:58

morning all, sorry i have been so scarce. not really been tracking the last 3 weeks as have been aiming for maintaining and wanted to find out whether I would need to track religiously for the rest of my life.

Answer is no! Lost another 1lb today so now 1.5lbs under goal. Really pleased that I've been able to carry on WW way of eating without being fastidious about it.

Anyway, hope you guys are all well. Off to work, I promise I'll try to be better with this thread in terms of keeping up.

Good luck to all WI today!

bandgeek · 07/07/2011 09:17

Hi all, can I join in? I started WW in January and lost a stone to take me to 11st 7lbs. I then kind of lapsed a bit and put half a stone back on Blush so I started again on Monday, weighing in at 12 stone. I want to lose another stone I think ( I'm 5'10) andreally really need to tone up.

I'm doing it online and finding it not too bad, but does anyone else feel guilty when they dip into their weeklys? I feel like I'm cheating!

I've started doing the shred again and even ventured into the gym again for the first time in months!

I've read the last couple of WW threads and found it really inspiring so am hoping you lot can keep me' on the straight and narrow this time Grin

vnmum · 07/07/2011 09:29

well done herding, collision, kniter and noway

welcome bandgeek

After my 'can't be arsed week' (couldn't be arsed, cooking, tracking or eating properly) I have gained a spectacular 3lb in a week. I'm not bothered though, I know why i gained (i ate lots of takeaways and cakes all week, plus other high point meals i wouldn't normally eat) and I know that i can lose it again easy enough and I am still below goal so just back on with the tracking this week.

good luck to any other WIs today

hmc · 07/07/2011 10:06

Thanks for the congrats on getting to goal froot, wizzler, vnmum and androbbob. It's been a long 7-8 months! A friend also got to goal last night so its great we became gold members together.

Well done on other losses

Cheers for feedback on the menu vnmum - I did stick with soup and fish and skipped pudd!

Checking in to the shiny new thread!

Hi all.

I have been doing ww for about 8 weeks now, but have not really been doing it properly or seriously. (Only been to 3 meetings in 8 weeks). I started at 11 stone 4 and am now 10 stone 12. I am getting real this week. :) Hoping for a proper 2-3 pound weightloss.

I am tracking tracking. Also, I realised that i really enjoy having a proper meal and a glass of wine in the evenings, so I have decided to work with that and will eat light during the day and allow myself a really decent (large) meal at night. Tonight will be a grilled pork steak with mustard, mashed potatoes, sweet pots, griddled apples, courgettes and peas. With wine. ;) I have not pointed it out properly yet but am estimating it to be a good 18 points or so. So during the day i am on black coffee and fruit and salads. I am hoping that this works for me as I tend not to be that hungry during the day.

I am determined to do this properly now. I farted around with it, and still managed to lose 6 pounds so I am very hopeful for my weigh in next week.

Have good days everyone!

ledkr · 07/07/2011 10:55

Hi,can i join too, started 2 weeks ago today, have 2.5 stone of vile baby weight to lose baby is 4.5 months,i lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks am so chuffed, have not been tracking this week so must get back into it cos have defo cheated more when not tracking-bigger portions etc.Does anyone else have double portions if points allow it eg pasta or am i just a greedy cow.

SpringFollows · 07/07/2011 10:58

I definitely have double portions of things like pasta if the points allow it!

Willabywallaby · 07/07/2011 11:09

Lovely shiney new thread thanks!

I'm pleased to report I also lost that final pound and made it to GOAL! Last night. It was obviously a night for it, there were 2 others at my meeting that did it. although it was a bit touch and go. At first when I got on the scales it was only a 0.5lb loss but she let me try again since it dud hover a bit. So I breathed out and stayed v still and it stopped at 9st6, lowest I've been in over 10 years.

It has been a slow journey of 6 months (20lb in total) but I'm hoping it'll be easier to keep off this way.

Keep going everyone!!

hmc · 07/07/2011 11:37

Well done on getting to goal Willaby - I did too on Weds (although only 4 ppl on this thread have noticed!)

vnmum · 07/07/2011 11:52

massive congrats willaby. welcome to the gold members club. It's a great feeling isn't it.

welcome ledkr

Littlefish · 07/07/2011 11:59

hmc and willababy - Congratulations on getting to goal. That's absolutely fantastic. You must both feel great.

Springfellows - I'm the same and you, and really like to have a substantial meal in the evenings.

*Ledkr, I have been known to double, and even treble pasta portions if I've got enough points!

I'm feeling absolutely exhausted today. I'm back at home again, but feeling very low, waiting for news of a very young family member who is in a hospice Sad. I just feel really helpless. I'm still tracking and eating healthily but it doesn't seem terribly important at the moment.

My sister is coming to stay at the weekend, which will be a welcome distraction.

Littlefish · 07/07/2011 12:00

Oops, I meant willabywallaby

hmc · 07/07/2011 12:05

Thanks littlefish (stops sulking temporarily) - it is a big deal. It'll be you before the year is out!

hmc · 07/07/2011 12:06

Blimey - just seen the bit of your post about a young family member in a hospice. How absolutely horrible for you Sad

Littlefish · 07/07/2011 12:20

hmc - in case you didn't recognise it, that's the sound of an enormous fanfare being played in your honour to celebrate your fantastic achievement. Getting to goal is a MASSIVE deal, not just a big deal. Are you feeling brave enough to post before and after photos? I'd love to see them. If you don't fancy putting them up for everyone to see, then pm me and just send them to me so I can be your chief cheerleader!

hmc · 07/07/2011 12:32

You're so sweet littlefish Grin

I am not usually so needy - just go a few things on my mind atm!

I'll try and dig out some photos

androbbob · 07/07/2011 12:41

Childish emotion Grin

WELL DONE hmc (again) and willabywallaby - me and Littlefish will be joiing you by the end of this year - honest! Wont we Littlefish
