Me - I am the resident statistician - weekly updates for thread losses.

So jump on in and post away - we are having a summer challenge to keep us on track.

Hmc Great news, well done!

Littlefish What an awful situation. :(

NoWay Maintaining without tracking, excellent.

I can't remember when I last checked in Blush . I'm sill losing a steady 1.5kg/3.3lbs per week, so all is good this end. Time to catch up on the end of the last thread...

Willabywallaby · 07/07/2011 13:14

hmc I meant you that had also lost 1lb to get to goal. If I'm remembering correctly. Usually on my phone so rubbish at namechecking. WELL DONE YOU!

Sad littlefish

Right, sat in gym changing room off to try and maintain.

feistychickfightingthebull · 07/07/2011 13:19

Hello All, can I join please. Have been doing WW since April 2010 and have lost 40lbs or thereabouts so far. Since they introduced ProPoints I haven't been to WI as I was so used to the old system. Needless to say I have stayed the same now for three months and need to shift my bum so that I lose another stone. So pleased to have found this group. Will be going to WI on Saturday

vnmum · 07/07/2011 14:07

heyho well done on the regular losses
littlefish sorry to hear about your family member Sad

Willabywallaby · 07/07/2011 14:25

Sorry! Thought that hadn't posted Blush

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 07/07/2011 14:42

Flipping heck, 4 pages already ! Am on phone so can't properly catch up.

Littlefish so very sorry.

HMC and Willaby huge congratulations, very well done indeed.

Androbbob ahem you forgot me, I'm aiming for Christmas too.

Apologies to everyone I haven't done.

Am firmly back in track and lost 6.5lbs today.

BartletForAmerica · 07/07/2011 15:50

Signing into the new thread! On my phone so can't flip back and forth easily.

After a very slight weight gain last week, I'm hoping to get back to weight loss this week. I've got to get in a bikini at the beginning of Sept so have that in my head as a goal.

vnmum · 07/07/2011 16:04

wow, well done wynken, fab loss

androbbob · 07/07/2011 20:29

wynken - I would never forget you! A fab loss there!

Right, I said I'd be better this thread, so I'm going to start as I mean to go on!

IHeart saw your news from tail end of last thread - congrats!

collision congrats on your loss, that's brilliant!

kniternator great couple weeks for you!

Welcome bandgeek, Spring, feistychick and ledkr hope we can be the support you need

vnmum it's a great feeling, isn't it, when you know you've put on, but you're not disheartened/demotivated and know exactly how to get back on track and lose it.

hmc and willaby (that's your own private marching band). CONGRATULATIONS!!!

littlefish so sorry to hear about your family member Sad

HeyHO glad it's all still moving inthe right direction

blondes mega jealous of your tan, but will get over it as it's less than 3 months till I'll be Canary-ing myself!

wynken BLOODY HELL!! Half a stone in a week?? That's unbelievable!!!

bartlet hope you can get back on track this week

Mammoth catch up over!

New job is going extremely well, absoultely love my colleagues, it's so nice to be back in an environment where you have banter and laughter and general ribbing. Lots of fun.

Re: WW, because I'm originally from South Africa, I didn't know what was a st or a lb until a few years ago, and always weighed myself in kgs. Just realised with WW this morning that this is the first time in over 10 years that I've been below the 60kg. In fact, the lightest I've been since 1999 is 57kg, and am now 59.9 (talk about precise!).

I love WW!! There was a time when I was pushing 75kg's, so this is quite an achievement!

ledkr · 07/07/2011 20:37

God im so frustrated.I was 13 9 at weigh in 2 weeks ago,i was about the same on my scales. They are showing me as 13 3 so i wqs looking forward to weigh in tonight but she weighed me as 13 7.5 im gutted,i felt like leaving.Just weighed myself on mine again and im 13 3 wtf? I know scales differ but they were roughly in sync and im thinner,my clothes are loose, any words of wisdom?

androbbob · 07/07/2011 20:53

Ditch your home scales and go by the WW WI ones only Grin

Not a flippant response but you can get obsessed with getting WI every day - its not good as the body fluctuates daily and weekly. Some people here seem to think that fortnightly WI would be better as it takes into account TOTM water gains!

Just checking into the new thread!

I'm still struggling with disappointment at only losing 1.5pm in first week, but DH pointed out that if I lost that every week then I'd be pretty happy in 6 months time.

Am also not sure whether to go into the 49 points - I didn't last week but maybe I should be happy to... Urgh am just musing out loud. Hope you are all having an easier week of things diet wise!

benbon · 07/07/2011 22:14

hmc · 08/07/2011 07:20

HeyH0 - a steady loss averaging 3.3lb per week is just brilliant!
Excellent weight loss Wynken - bet you are chuffed Smile
Noway - that's great about the job, glad you are enjoying it at the same time as earning spondulicks. Thanks for the marching band in willaby's and my honour Grin
Well done on losses ledkr, Norky and benbon. Sorry you are disappointed with your 1.5lb over 2 weeks ledkr but it is still a loss and hopefully you will lose more next week if you 'keep the faith'. Fingers crossed!

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/07/2011 09:14

hmc · 08/07/2011 10:35

Blondes - 5lb will be gone in no time at all. I hope the sun comes out for you in Bournemouth

Whitershadeofpale · 08/07/2011 11:27

Checking in- Didn't WI last week as was at Take That (which involved a visit to the 24hour McDonalds drive thru on the way home. But WI last night with a 4lb loss that meant I've reached my 5% goal and have been reduced to 29 pp now. 12.5lbs total loss.

vnmum · 08/07/2011 12:39

well done on losses ledkr, benbon, blondes, whiter

InvaderZim · 08/07/2011 15:10

Hello, everyone, longtime lurker here. :o

I'm using the WW app on my iPhone and today it came up as telling me I had six more daily points than normal?? (I get 47 points (breastfeeding) and it told me I had 53 left for the day!)

I have lost 3 pounds some weeks, but I've lost an average of 2 lbs/week so surely it can't be trying to get me to eat more?

Daclaireh · 08/07/2011 16:18

Hi all, haven't been on for a bit, I'm soo soo lost without my phone as it helped me keep up with everyone.
So many people at goal, congrats to you all.
This week, WI on monday I lost 3.75lbs, woo hoo. it was my 1st full week back on track and am dead chuffed with that. For some reason I went of track wed and thurs this week. Could have had something to do with baking my mum a cake for her birthday Blush

I have made myself a ww diary, with enough pages to go until I should be at goal (Hopefully by April next year)
Well done to everyone who has lost and I promise to keep up with you all more.

debs39 · 08/07/2011 22:30

Just jumped threads...been catching up! Congrats iheart,,,we can put on weight together!!! Ps re calibrating scales etc etc...i was WW leader for over a year and can't ever recall having scales checked...and when you think about it...they get used far far far far far....x 45members at class 5 times a week if not more...times more than normal scales....WW scales are NOT...I repeat NOT God!!! Go by your clothes and how they fit or a half pound loss / gain when u felt u were doing so well will devastate you!!! xxx

bandgeek · 08/07/2011 22:41

Well done everyone on their losses Smile

I'm feeling totally disillusioned with dieting today, feel like I am getting totally obsessed with it and am thinking about food all the time. I've used about 10 of my weeklies since Monday and actually feel guilty about doing so! Does anyone find themselves in this mindset and how do I get out of it?
