Welcome one and all to our 3rd thread Grin

If you're just starting out or you've been following WW for a while and you're looking for support you've come to the right place!

There are lots of regulars who are well on their weigh (get it! Wink) and others who have just joined us - we're a mixed bag, all shapes and sizes and all with different goals to achieve but we're all striving for the same thing. We're all here to will one another on with advice, support and lots of cheering!

Androbbob is our resident stat checker and keeps us motivated by totting up the total weight loss each week. So far this week we have already lost over 37lbs collectively! I believe in total there has been over a 9 stone loss since the thread started!

We're quite fast moving at times so just dive in and make yourself at home Grin

StarvingMarvin · 21/01/2011 11:31

Checking in!

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/01/2011 11:34

Blondes is here marking my spot and weighing 26 lbs less than this time last year :)

StarvingMarvin · 21/01/2011 11:35

kittya, I'm doing WW online and finding it really good. For me, being able to track what I'm eating and have the points worked out automatically is a god send. I can see exactly what I have left and put variations of meals into the tracker to help me decide what to have for dinner etc. I am a bit obsessive about putting everything I eat into the tracker so it has stopped me picking as I don't want to have to put things in and use up points which could have been used for a nice dinner!

I think for some people, the support of a meeting is invaluable, for me going to a meeting wouldn't be practical, so I think maybe give the WW online a go and if it doesn't suit you try out a meeting instead. Good luck!

StarvingMarvin · 21/01/2011 11:35

Yay Blondes!

abgirl · 21/01/2011 12:17

Hello everyone. Starting using ww online this week and am settling down with the new points system - quite liking it so far but will see what the scales say when I WI on Tuesday! I've got about 3 and 1/2 stone to lose and my challenges are working full time in an office with the vending machines too close byConfused and a tendancy to snack in the evenings... Also as I work full time by DH does most of the cooking and he's not the healthiest cook - we're working on that though...

abgirl · 21/01/2011 12:18

kittya, meant to say that if you sign up for WW online for 3 months via quidco you'll get £15 cash back, so it works out about £16 for 3 months :)

Makingchanges · 21/01/2011 12:20

Hi Guys, can I join you. I joined WW online again yesterday. Have previously been an online member and gone to classes but that is not practical now as at uni full-time. I haven't got my head around the pro-points things yet though Confused

vnmum · 21/01/2011 12:58

LuckyLight · 21/01/2011 13:13

Jeeeeeeesuuuuuuus! I can't keep up with this thread!!!!!

NormaSknockers · 21/01/2011 14:12

Hello and welcome to abgirl, kittya and Making - it's a little quiet on here at the moment as we're just finishing off the old thread but we'll all be piling over here for shortly Grin

kitt I would say yes, it's well worth joining online as it's all very useful and handy to have everything at your fingertips.

Well done for getting signed up abgirl can you stock up on low pointed snack options for your evening snack attacks?

Making don't worry, it can take a good few weeks to get into the swing of ProPoints but once you do it'll become second nature :)

Marking my spot.

AnyoneForPimms · 21/01/2011 15:27

Hi there,
I've taken the plunge and joined WW online.
I was going to meetings last year but a change of job meant I couldn't always get there so I stopped going and the weight went back on.
Before I stopped going it was really working for me. I tracked online so this will be easy to get back into.( I hope)
My weigh in day will be Friday as if I have a treat at the weekend I've all week to make up for it!!
My starting weight is 12.3. I' m only 5.5 so l like to lose at least 2.5 stone.
Any help or advice would be great Smile
I plan to go to aqua once a week, do a davina workout twice a week and dust of my wii fit. I've bought the biggest loser game so looking forward to giving that a go !!

NormaSknockers · 21/01/2011 15:44

Good to see you back Pimms and well done for signing up :)

Angry was saving points for wine consumption tonight and wasn't expecting to use many for tea as we had planned veg curry, only to find out when I got home that DH had put full fat coconut milk into it... He's promised not to use it again and I had a very small portion of rice to save some points, have enough for 1 glass now... ho hum,

Am saving my weekly points for tomorrow as DSs are off to their grandparents and DH and I are off out for a meal and 30th birthday party. DH has friends coming round tonight for poker so am going to get just dance 2 on my wii fit and work out for some more points...

sweetheart · 21/01/2011 19:13

OMG OMG OMG!!!!! I've just sent dh up town to pick up a KFC. I've checked the eating out guide and I'm totally within my daily points but I just feel like I'm cheating. I really don't want to ruin my diet - it will be ok won't it. I mean - how can a takeaway possibly be ok!?!?!?!?!?!?!

DuplicitousBitch · 21/01/2011 19:34

wine is serious pointage, i am not drinking atm but i would be screwed if i was
