Welcome one and all to our 3rd thread Grin

If you're just starting out or you've been following WW for a while and you're looking for support you've come to the right place!

There are lots of regulars who are well on their weigh (get it! Wink) and others who have just joined us - we're a mixed bag, all shapes and sizes and all with different goals to achieve but we're all striving for the same thing. We're all here to will one another on with advice, support and lots of cheering!

Androbbob is our resident stat checker and keeps us motivated by totting up the total weight loss each week. So far this week we have already lost over 37lbs collectively! I believe in total there has been over a 9 stone loss since the thread started!

We're quite fast moving at times so just dive in and make yourself at home Grin

hi all,
blondes glad your DH is better
Norma hope you're feeling better soon

Well, I have used all my weeklies up already. I had a bit of a celebration and ate some stuff i had not been having lately. mainly cake. I am also starting the week before my AF so am hungry for no real reason.

I made the chorizo lasagne tonight. DD took one look and went "NO" virtually, and DS ate all the pasta and chorizo and left all the veg. Good thing i had some micro lasagne in the freezer for them just in case. DH liked it but said it could have done with more chorizo and less BNS so i may tweek it slightly and just have it as higher points. It was filling though.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I am looking through hair mags as have decided to have my hair cut off on monday, new look for the new slim me Smile

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/02/2011 21:21

vnmum fussy eaters you have!!! Just give Dh some extra chorizo on the side :)

abgirl · 12/02/2011 23:55

Moved up to L2 of shred yesterdayHmmShockShockShockShock - am SO earning my activity points! Didn't feel too bad yesterday but this morning OMG - ouch! hhy hope you've had a go and are sharing my pain!

Been out for Wine and pizza tonight - v enjoyable and stuck to hawaiian and veggie pizzas and no pudding - feeling v virtuous despite WineWine consumption. Have saved some points for Valentine's on Monday but will need to go careful with what I have I think.

LuckyLight · 13/02/2011 00:26

Hi all, my weekly post Blush. androbbob I stayed the same this week Sad. This last 2 lbs is sooooooooooo hard. It's like pulling teeth!!!!!

Doing level 2 shred, loving it! I ached for 4 days after doing it for the first time. I love that it's only 20 mins but feel like I've had a great workout!

Hope you are all still doing well?

Still think about you all. Hope you are all well. Sorry my posts are so infrequent Sad. DD1 has been much better at night time.

Lorelai · 13/02/2011 08:33

Morning all.

Sorry to hear you sts Lucky, keep plugging away and that last 2 will come off soon; all that shredding is probably turning it into muscle instead :)

Anyone know how many points for a creme egg? The app says 2 but that can't be right; I think that must be for a mini one.

sparkle101 · 13/02/2011 09:36

Morning lorelai shopping guide says 5pp. Hmmmm I want one now!

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/02/2011 10:47

'heaves at creme eggs' almost as bad at slime mushrooms Grin

lucky hi, glad things better at night and :( at sts, the last few lbs are hard, but :) you didnt gain

ShouldersBackAndNoBiscuits · 13/02/2011 13:30

Hi all, I did day 1 of the shred yesterday, however day 2 is going to have to wait until I have a new sports bra. There was no way I could do the cardiovascular bits in the useless nursing bra I had on!

I made a recipe from waitress yesterday as friends round for lunch, highly recommend it. It was one of their recipe cards, BNS puy lentils and ham hock. They have the nutritional value on the cards worked out at 12 pp and then I substituted half fat creme fraiche for the cream in the recipe, so could maybe have docked a pp for that! Anyway, it was yum and really filling!

ShouldersBackAndNoBiscuits · 13/02/2011 13:30

Waitrose, not waitress!

LuckyLight · 13/02/2011 13:41

blondes LOL! I just realised, I did gain!! only 1 lb, and I lost body fat (according to machine).

By the way, while I'm on here, DD1 had a friend to tea this week, and they had icecream for pudding, and I was in one of my 'sod it!' moods, so I had a snickers icecream (48g) and when I looked it up, was delighted to see it was only 5 pps!!!! What a lovely 'filling' treat for 5 pps!!

And...GU chocolate souffle puds are half price in Tesco and only 8PPs each. Valentines dinner treat??!! Grin.

HighHeidYin · 13/02/2011 13:43

Afternoon Smile

Well done shoulders on doing day 1 of the shred and you lived to tell the tale! STILL not done it... absolutely no time today either Sad Got to get the house in order for next week, give girls their violin lesson, make dinner then get to celeidh practice at half six.

Annoyed because wanted to fit some exercise in today to burn off the meal we went out for last night. Went to Brewers Fayre. Everything on their menu seems to be high in pps so estimate I have used up all my weeklies... Didnt have any alcohol though.

lucky must be annoying sts but you will be building muscle doing the shred which weighs more than fat. So you will have lost lbs of fat really...

Best get moving... might pop in tonight after practice. Be good!

HighHeidYin · 13/02/2011 13:43

Ooer got that last paragraph a bit mixed up... Hmm oh well.

See ya! Grin

Lorelai · 13/02/2011 15:39

Thanks, I thought it was probably about 5. I had it yesterday, but was under my points so think it is still ok.

Just had a lovely roast dinner and was pleasantly surprised at how few points it was; Quorn fillets only 1 pp each, gravy 1 as well, carrots and peas (2); only thing high in pp were the potatoes and parsnips.

ShouldersBackAndNoBiscuits · 13/02/2011 16:58

Have managed to get to bravissimo this afternoon so have a new sports bra for day 2! Also got new nursing bras as now 2 back sizes smaller than when I bought some in November!

NoWayNoHow · 13/02/2011 17:24

shoulders if two back sizes in 3 months isn't enough to shout about WW, I don't know what is! That's amazing!

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/02/2011 20:33

shoulders well done

lucky :( but fab you are losing fat and prob toning up as well and rem muscle weighs more then fat

think ive eaten all my weekies as went for a curry, need to work it out

no hope for me this week, as valentines tom and out wed with girls

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/02/2011 21:01

Wow - I've just worked out I ate 52pp :( but I'm stuffed so wont be having tea (had breakie of 5pp) leaving 24

52-24= 28 :)

49-28= 21

So I have 21 weekies left - I'm amazed Shock

wizzler · 13/02/2011 21:06

Lorelai.. agree about sunday roast. I often think WW is encouraging me to cook the sort of meat and 2 veg meals my mum makes. Even with yorkshire puds, I can manage a sunday roast easily within points, but start eating new fangled pasta or rice with anything and it soon adds up!.

Has anyone seen Norma? I am sure she would be starting a new thread about now ( I suspect Blondes is hovering over this one, waiting to finish it off!) Doesnt quite seem right for someone else to start it, does it .. shall we nominate a Norma deputy?

Norma hope you are alright

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/02/2011 21:27

wizzler I don't know what you are insulating !!!! Shock Grin

Anyone would think I'm a vulture :)

But yes Norma we need a new thread and doesn't feel right someone else doing it - but maybe we should if Norma hasn't appeared by tomorrow?

Agree a roast can be enjoyed within PP but spag Bol etc goes over :(

Lorelai · 14/02/2011 08:07

I've just pointed my Valentine's dinner - 31pp!!! That does include a glass of prosecco though. Luckily I get 56pp a day so should still be able to stay within that.

bigTillyMint · 14/02/2011 09:57

Lorelai what are you having?

I've got WI tonight, so not eating till after. I have definitely stayed well within dailies, but we had friends over on Saturday so I had about 20 of my weeklies, but I'm not sure I will have lost anything - feeling quite bloaty and it's not my TOTMSad

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/02/2011 10:55

31 sounds good

we are going to pizza express as i want a pizza and can have a low fat one there

HighHeidYin · 14/02/2011 11:02

Morning Smile

norma missing seeing you around. Hope you are back soon Sad

What a miserable day here! Grey, cold and rainy. Going into the office this afternoon so dh can go do some deliveries. Got to tidy the house this morn and I MIGHT actually do The Shred Shock

Is that a good idea because will be down the new gym tonight for our induction? Don't want to keel over Grin

Yum at all the talking about food... better go get something to eat - am starving!

Willabywallaby · 14/02/2011 12:00

Just had M&S chilli snack pot 6pp, yummy!

hmc · 14/02/2011 12:31
