Welcome one and all to our 3rd thread Grin

If you're just starting out or you've been following WW for a while and you're looking for support you've come to the right place!

There are lots of regulars who are well on their weigh (get it! Wink) and others who have just joined us - we're a mixed bag, all shapes and sizes and all with different goals to achieve but we're all striving for the same thing. We're all here to will one another on with advice, support and lots of cheering!

Androbbob is our resident stat checker and keeps us motivated by totting up the total weight loss each week. So far this week we have already lost over 37lbs collectively! I believe in total there has been over a 9 stone loss since the thread started!

We're quite fast moving at times so just dive in and make yourself at home Grin

Good morning all!

Been rubbish as usual keeping up over the weekend. Dh and I did end up going out for a thai meal on Saturday night so I suspect I've used all my weeklies! I don't think I've pointed my meal out properly and I was so hungry yesterday I ended up picking at everything in sight Sad. We shared a little over 2 bottles of wine which will be the source of most of the damage! I did realsie though that when we went out last weekend I had 8 vodka's (16pp), went home sober and was annoyed I'd wasted points but after 18pp of wine I was pretty sozzled so IMO was a much better result Grin

Noway - activity points Grin well I might have earned some but that would be telling Wink

High - hope you've recovered from your car nightmare and that you enjoyed your burns night dinner.

Hello Lucky, glad to see you popping in and that your dd is doing better. Thanks for your updates.

Lorelai - I absolutly LOVE that you were posting about cream egg's at 8.33am! Brilliant!

bigTM - good luck tonight!

I am going to bust my arse at the gym for the next 3 days and hope that the weekend hasn't ruined my whole week (i'm hopinh some of the moving activity will counteract the meal out!). I'm also going to make sure we have nothing booked in for next weekend so I can stay strong and have a really good week!

Happy Valentines day to you all, hope you are all having a good one. Any of you having special meals today remember to keep track of everything so hopefully you can have a nice evening and still lose weight!

sweetheart · 14/02/2011 13:00

We have got a meal for two for £15 from waitrose; mushroom and hazlenut roast, roast veg and potatoes, carrots and green beans, gu melt in the middle chocolate pud and a bottle of prosecco. Yummy :)

Willabywallaby · 14/02/2011 13:27

It was chilli with rice.

Got the valentine's meal, will have to give the pud a miss though, 13pp!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/02/2011 13:36

13 for a meal is fab

loubloutwinmum · 14/02/2011 13:37

Hi All,

Haven't had chance to catch up with everyone on here as been manic over the weekend. DH has had this awful winter sickness bug all weekend & I have just been trying to avoid me or DD's catching it. Not been much fun so feeling bit glum today as back at work & it is as if the weekend didn't happen.

WI this morning and despite it being day 2 of totm I am thrilled to have lost 2lb. Have done Shred for 7 solid days (had day off yesterday as too much to get done) & feel much better for it and am steeling myself to move up to level 2! Giving Zumba a go tonight.

Had 30 weeklies left this week and about 12 activity points so have been pretty good. Had NO alcohol at all this week but had quite a few "cake" treats and a Chinese take away!

Went shopping Friday and tried on a few outfits and was delighted that some size 14 bits I tried were actually loose! Even around my boobs which is unheard of for me! Didn't buy much as want to weight until I get to my target weight or a bit nearer anyway.

Hope everyone else has great WI results - will try to check in again soon. Sorry for lack of personal messages...

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/02/2011 13:39

lou well done on 2 lbs loss :) and fab 14's are getting baggy

my dc have the sickness bug :( all tucked up in bed asleep at moment

loubloutwinmum · 14/02/2011 13:39

LOL - "weight until I get to my target weight" - obviously got weight on the brain. Smile

NormaSknockers · 14/02/2011 13:54

Hello all,

Sorry I'm not about at the moment, mix of not being well again, home life being busy and having a small MN break :)

I'll quickly pop up a nee thread if that's ok with everyone? I'm sorry for everything that I've missed and hope everyone is doing well?

Lorelai · 14/02/2011 14:16

Hi Norma, good to see you. Hope you are better soon and can come back and join us; we miss you!

sparkle101 · 14/02/2011 14:20

blondes so silly question - are three eggs 5 pp?

lou well done for the loss and am Envy of size 14's. Although saying that I went into new look yesterday and bought a size 16 top totally unlike anything I would normally wear but it fits beatifully. Not going to buy too much at each weight range as don't want to have loads of clothes if I put the weight back on. Not that I will!

Ah, all the valentine's meals sound lovely, we had the half price morrisons steak on Saturday with the garlic butter in the shape of hearts, it was lovely!

Also pointed homepride chicken chasseur sauce yesterday (in a tin) and for half is 2pp, lob in some chicken and new pots and veg on the side and thought it was a bit of a bargain!

I received an answer to my pasta question if it can be of any help to anyone in the future, the points values in the guide are for dry pasta and not fresh. Because dry pasta takes on more water that's why it is the same value for 40g/150g. If you want to know the points in fresh you have to do so from the packet, but have worked out penne from Asda 65g uncooked = 100g cooked is 4pp.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/02/2011 14:42

norma there you are, sorry you have been ill/life hetic :( hope you feel better soon and that you didnt mind me putting a new thread up

sparkle yes, 1 egg = 2, 2 eggs = 4 but 3 = 5pp so i normally have 3 for an extra pp iyswim :)

loubloutwinmum · 14/02/2011 14:43

blondes sorry you DC have this bug too, it is truly grim! When I told DH I had lost 2lb this morning, he said he had beat me as he managed to shift 4lb in 3 days!!! However, I much prefer my methods of weight loss.

Sparkle thanks - it is nice to go into shops and pick up things you normally wouldn't wear and for them to look good isn't it! I am trying to not buy too much either but it is tricky as a lot of what I have in my wardrobe is very baggy!

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/02/2011 14:50

luckily, so far. i dont have it - just have bad cough/cold - im generally immune to most things tbh
