Stamp! Managed levels 1 and 3 back to back today - thereby ignoring level 2 which is my personal bete noire...Grin

SMummyS · 18/11/2010 21:22

Started level 1 today with slight modification of the push up (bad knees and bad wrist). Will definately do it again tomoro, I'm desperate to lose some inches :(

titferbrains · 18/11/2010 22:40

Hoping to shred while I'm away on holiday, and praying it will help me keep off the Thanksgiving poundage... will let you know how I get on.

Keep shredding and keep posting everyone!

I got my weights from Tesco, 2 kg.

riven Sorry to hear your news.

My underarms seem to ache the most today.. oh well, no pain, no gain hey

SMummyS · 19/11/2010 09:05

My shoulders and chest ache today :( no pain no gain as my dad used to say.

MickyLee · 19/11/2010 09:36

Just finished day 2. Even the first set of jumping jacks hurt after yesterday but very proud now. Hope it gets easier.

smummys What size weights are you using?

needtogetalife · 19/11/2010 09:39

I have just ordered it, is there anything else I need? I see you are talking of weights, what size are they? would a tin of beans do?

MickyLee · 19/11/2010 09:43

needtogetalife I am using 2 kg weights. I think a tin of bins would be fine but could be a bit difficult to grip maybe. It is a great workout and only 20 minutes so easy to find the time.

SMummyS · 19/11/2010 09:44

Erm not sure, il check when I get home. They're maybe too heavy

redderthanred · 19/11/2010 10:52

ok. So have been a bit inspired by these shred threads.

Finger is hovering on the ' add to basket' on amazon.

Is it only 20 mins?
does it really work?
is it going to kill me in the process?
what if i cant do it all?
How high impact is it ( arches on feet hurt if too much jumping)

I dont think im all that fit, i walk 45 mind a day. I can swim a mile in 45 mins. But im about 2 stone over weight and get out of puff quite easy.

notyummy · 19/11/2010 10:57

Yes it is only 20 mins.

Yes it is quite hard - but there are easy versions of most of the exercises so you can start on those and work up. You can also move up to heavier weights as you get fitter.

Yes it does work!

Fairly high impact - but again there are modified versions. As you get fitter/lose weight you may be surprised at what you can do.

redderthanred · 19/11/2010 11:00

i think i could do 20 mins a day. Thats not long at all is it.

exacally HOW sweaty am i going to get?
and would it work if i did it say, 4 x a week?

or does it really need to be every day?

needtogetalife · 19/11/2010 11:01

need to get them asap as I want to start as soon as it arrives

notyummy · 19/11/2010 11:03

For maximum 'shredding' of fat, the do it everyday - but I think it would work 4 days a week. (I don't to it everyday as I am not trying to lose - I do it occasionally as part of a general exercise routine.)

You WILL sweat. Triainers and good sports bra important!

redderthanred · 19/11/2010 11:08

ok. its purchased.

Will try to do everyday. If its only 20 mins i cant see why i cant fit it in.

will report back after first go.

SMummyS · 19/11/2010 11:16

You'll love it... It's hard work but does get easier and cos it's only 20min its easy to fit it in :)

I do it along side Hannah watermans body blitz which I love doing :)
