Hello everyone I have name changed (Maarva) but been here since the beginning. Still on my 5mg a week and maintaining ok plus still doing my weightlifting. I plan on being on this long term as it suits me.

I am with Cloud and have had an email about the tablet form. Wondering if anyone else had considered it? Would really prefer it but nervous to make a change as Mounjaro has worked so well for me.

I know exactly what you mean @LumionaMoonsplash . I'm 62 and the last time I was anywhere near this size was when I was 25. When I catch myself in the mirror I tend to stop and stare, not in a 'get me, I'm fabulous' way, but more a 'how the hell did that happen' way.
I'm beyond happy with my weight loss and loving how much more active I am now. But it also makes me sad that I could / should have been like this all my life and I've missed so much. It's all a bit confusing, and then there's the fear I'll wake up one morning fat again...

Hi all

Great to hear all of your progress.

Quick Wegovy update, after a year on MJ. I have somehow managed to drop a couple of pounds the last couple of weeks, so under my self imposed higher target of 14 stone now. I had my last 1mg dose today and have 1.7mg ready to go for next week.

Hoping this will increase suppression again, as not felt any in a while and have been relying on willpower mostly. I managed to get the 1.7 (4th highest dose) for £120 with a new starter discount which is considerably cheaper than the equivalent MJ, however I am now fast running out of places I can start as a newby with, so relying on the odd discount from former sellers that come through here and there.

Keep on at it everyone!

@DeltaAlphaDelta79 that's great that you're losing on wegovy. Well done 👏 in the trials 2.4mg was equivalent to 7.5mg so 1.7mg is around 5mg and 1mg is arpund 2.5mg! It's still cheaper than MJ but it doesn't have the GIP which a lot of us need for blood sugar control. I was on wegovy 3 months but progressively became more ill so went back to MJ. I'm glad it's working for you and will save money in the long run. What is your target now?

DeltaAlphaDelta79 · 08/06/2026 22:37

@Mysticmaiden anywhere betwen 13 and 14 stone I am happy with, so the closer I get to 13 the better.

Its definitely not working as well as MJ did, I always knew it wasn't as effective, but Ive lost the majority of the weight I need so using this more as maintenance and to lose the last few pounds.
