Have done it. Ordered my first 0.25 pen of Wegovy. Current weight 80.2kg and 165 com tall. Want to be more like 70kg. Thanks to whoever posted a 25% off code for Zava.

anyone else joining me as a May 2026 Wegovy start?

Hi I've just taken my first .25mg dose of wegovy. Start weight 166 pounds. Goal weight 140 pounds. 5 foot 5. Really impressed with shemed, they send the pen with a little care package of senna tablets, acid reflux, anti diarrhea and sickness tablets 😃 hopefully i won't need them!

Felt a bit sore going in mind 🤔 I could definitely feel the needle!

I am assuming you get full instructions on where to inject. Needles don't really bother me - I donate blood and have to have tests regularly for thyroid levels.

Yeah there's was instructions in the box and I watched a video on the app just to be sure. It said I can inject into the upper arms, belly or thigh.

I've just read that if you inject it straight out of the fridge (which i did) it can sting a bit so next time it should be better because I'm keeping it at room temp now.

Is that your target, or starting point?

Just waiting for my first pen to be delivered. My sister has lost over 4 stones and looks amazing. , she's gone from size 18 to a small 12 !

I'm 5 ft 1 and weigh 77 kgs so fingers crossed it works for me although I'm quite nervous about it all .

I understand the nervousness about it all - i feel the same. Pen arrived about 30 minutes ago and I was like eeeeeek what am I doing.

First injection done.

I have just done my blood test part for SheMed today but I didn’t think I collected enough blood! I will see in a few days I have been toying with starting for so long feeling nervous but also struggling so bad with weight since baby number 2 - 2 years ago now!
I am only 5 ft 2 and I weigh 93kg it’s the most I’ve ever weighed so excited to start seeing a change.

Why did you need a blood test? I just answered questions and send unflattering photos of me in leggings and a tight t-shirt.

@Ecgx i am your height and was 93kg last year before Mounjaro. I only took it for a few months before the prices went up. I only started wegovy 2 weeks ago. Good luck.

I barely felt the needle. Bit of a headache today (day 1) and no noticeable impact on appetite..

So it’s about 6 hours since I injected and I have heartburn. I am hoping this means it’s doing something.

@TipsyLaird i have to take omeprazole with wegovy.

You may need omeprazole . I think you can buy it otc but nit sure .

Hi, I done my first one yesterday.
Was really anxious about it but it didn't hurt at all. Felt a bit bloated all day but that may have been psychological I'm not sure how quickly the side effects start.

Couple of Rennies and I was fine!

Hello!! I've just got my first 0.25mg pen this morning, planning to take the first dose tonight, a bit nervous about side effects. I'm 167cm, currently around 82.5kg, goal weight 58-60kg. I'm doing it through a weight loss clinic and they were so encouraging and helpful, so I'm feeling positive.

I chose to do it through shemed as I got blue light discount and it included a blood test for your general health markers before sending which I am all good with as it can show any areas that improvement are deffo needed and the can make sure it goes down with weight… hopefully 😂

Day 2 - no side effects except maybe fatigue. No appetite suppression.. anyone else?

I'm about to do my first jab tonight.. I'm honestly really nervous, only about the side effects. The jab itself doesn't bother me. I know it'll be worth it, I'm just scared lol

Not much appetite suppression here either. But trying to eat smaller portions.
